Mark's p.o.v:
We all gathered up and exchanged phone numbers after school. 'I need to message Felix when I arrive home.' Jack put his number into my phone then Wade and I walked home.

"G-GUYS!" Wade grabbed my arm, which brings me to a stop. I slowly turn and see Jack running our way. Once he reached us his breathing was laboured. " T-thanks," He inhales a great breath of fresh air, "for waiting."

"No problem little fella," Wade says while looking down at him.

"Wade, just because you're tall does not signify you can call people little." I glare at him.

"Only because you're small too," Wade mumbles under his breath.

"I heard that." I lightly punch Wade's arm and ruffle Jack's green hair. Which causes both of them to laugh.

Jack's p.o.v:
Mark messes up my hair, making me blush slightly whilst I laugh. 'What's happened to me recently? I barely know him, but I feel a connection to him. No! Stop it, Jack. Just stop!'

"Well, this is my house." Mark waves goodbye to me and Wade as he walks inside his home.

"You like Mark, don't you." Wade surprises me.

"No. No, I don't like Mark." I lie.

Wade nods in approval. "Yes, you do. Felix saw the way you looked at him when you were by your locker, and you stutter when you're close to him. Like this morning, you were fine until Mark appeared." My cheeks start to flush a deep red.

We carried on walking until I got home. "Bye, Wade." Waving goodbye, I enter my house.

Mark's p.o.v:
I arrive home and message Felix.

Mark:
Hey.

Felix:
Hey bro. What's up?

Mark:
It's from Jack.

Felix:
What? Jack? What happened to tell me every detail!

Mark:
Well, he seems uncomfortable around me. Like he doesn't want to be friends. But on the other hand, he gave me a hug.

Felix:
But you don't like people touching you. Particularly not after Josh.

Mark:
Oh, I know. There's also Bob and Wade, who still don't know about me being queer.

Felix:
Well, you can't retain the relationship between you and Josh a secret forever. He hurt you, Mark. Once you tell them we can all remain firm against him. Plus, I still have pics of you two. What happens if someone discovers them? I can't get rid of them... Remember...

Mark:
Do whatever with them just try and get rid of them. He hurt me all the time.

Felix:
Ok, I'll try. Anyway, I have to run. Catch you tomorrow bro.

Mark:
Ok. Buh-bye

I put my phone on my nightstand as I stare at my ceiling. My cell phone pings. I check who it is but it was just some young woman. As I lay there I think about Josh. His revolting pink lips pushed mine, rugged body against mine in the moon's glare, green demonic eyes, rough touch, gleaming, white hair.

I stand up and walk to the mirror. I look back at my reflection. "NO MARK! Don't think about what he did for you. Forget about the pain, the penalties, the anger." I lift my hoodie sleeves. I examine the bruises and the cuts from when he would argue with me over the smallest things. Tears poured from my eyes. I go down to my knees. The tears continue to go down, I'll forget soon.

Jack's p.o.v:
'I can only think of Mark. His feeling, his eyes, his... Everything. Why am I so obsessed with him? I bet he can't see it.' I instantly look for Felix's contact when I walk into my home.

Jack:
Hey Felix can I ask you something?

Felix:
Sure bro. What is it about?

Jack:
Well, I was wondering if Mark likes me?

Felix:
I'm sure he does, but not the way you like him.

Jack:
Oh. Uh... Thanks again, Felix. Oh, one more question, does Mark normally look like he's sleep deprived?

Felix:
No, he doesn't. He's just had a few off days lately. Anyway, I have homework to do. So I will talk to you later about your puppy love. Bye bye, bro.

Jack:
See ya.

I wonder what's wrong with Mark. He must be pretty upset to not get sleep. I gaze up at my ceiling as I lay on my bed. "If only I knew about Mark." I slowly shut my eyes and think of Mark again. His muscles, sun-kissed skin, hair like a blue safety flame, and eyes like a mix of hot chocolate and coffee.
