Abigail walked out of the movie theater with her group of friends; Derek, Victoria, Katherine, and Brandon
"Hey, let's go get some ice cream," Victoria said.
"I don't think I can eat anymore. I just ate two large bags of popcorn" Derek stopped and said as he patted his stomach.
"Well, actually Derek that isn't true. You can still eat all the food you want and still have room for dessert because the sugar in dessert expands the walls of your stomach." Katherine informed him.
"You're such a know-it-all Kat," Brandon joked. He gave her a little shove.
"Fine, let's go get some ice cream." Derek began to shuffle his feet again towards the food court.
Abigail stopped and pointed in the air then told them;
"You guys go ahead. I am going to go get a smoothie."
"Okay, just meet us downstairs in the food court after," Victoria said.
"Do you want me to go with you?" Brandon asked
"No, it's okay. " Abigail told him.
Abigail began to walk towards the little smoothie kiosk that was on the other side of the mall. Abigail always liked a healthy smoothie over sugary ice cream. When Abigail walked over to the kiosk she noticed the long line and did not have the patience to wait. She looked around and noticed a familiar face sitting on a bench near the water fountain. She walked closer.
"Is that the new kid? Why is he sitting by himself?" Abigail asked herself. She went over and casual sat next to him.
He noticed her and with a hesitated voice asked;
"What are you doing here?"
Abigail gave him a snide look.
"Hi! Nice to see you too, Joshua." Abigail said sarcastically.
Joshua stared straight ahead.
"Sorry, Hi! What are you doing here?" He asked again.
"I was with some friends. Why are you here by yourself?" She took a sip of her smoothie.
"No reason," He said cautiously. He was staring intensively at a guy sitting at the café.
"Really?" She asked mockingly, "Because it looks like you are staring at someone. What do you not want them to know you are looking at them?" She asked curiously.
"Quiet!" Joshua started to freak out, he stuck his finger in his ear then said; "I know sir. I'll try sir."
Abigail looked around in confusion and but didn't see who he was talking too.
"Look! Abigail, you need to leave." He kept staring straight forward, but he had a serious tone in his voice.
"Why? I am just sitting here." Abigail bickered.
"Look, you need to leave!" Joshua looked at her and started to become angry.
Joshua snapped his head back to the guy sitting at the café.
"He is not even looking this way." Abigail turned her head away from Joshua to the mysterious guy. Abigail noticed that the guy was starting to look their way.
"Okay, now he is starting to look this way." Abigail drank her smoothie.
"I know sir. I got it." Joshua spoke to the air again. Joshua seemed frantic. He turned to Abigail and said quickly;
"I'm sorry for what I'm about to do, but it is a government matter."
Then he leaned in and kissed her. Abigail started to pull away and mumbled;
"Wha..?"
But then he pulled her in. She gave in and leaned into his arms and began to kiss back. He hid his face from the guy. The guy stared for a moment then got up and walked away. Joshua stopped kissing her and took a moment before sticking his finger in his ear and said;
"Blue is on the move. I repeat blue is on the move." Joshua got up and began to walk away.
"Hey! What was that?" Abigail shouted and left her drink on the bench.
Joshua didn't answer her. Abigail began to run after him. When she caught up to him she grabbed his arm.
"Not now. I'm busy!" He shouted at her.
Abigail quickly grabbed her phone out of her back pocket and slipped it into the pocket on the inside of Joshua's jacket.
"Fine!" She shouted back.
Abigail stood there and watched him run out the door. She turned her head and saw her friends sitting at the table nearby. Abigail ran quickly towards the table and ask;
"Hey, Victoria! Do you still have that tracking app on your phone from when we went to Disneyland last month?" Abigail began to gasp for breath.
"Yeah, why?" Victoria looked confused.
"Can I borrow your phone? I lost mine. Probably when we walked over here." Abigail tried to act casually about it.
"Sure. Here" Victoria reach into her shoulder bag and handed her phone to Abigail.
"Thanks. Also, can you get a ride from Brandon?"
Victoria and Brandon looked at each other then Brandon said;
"Yeah, she can get a ride from me."
"Thanks, y'all are the best." Abigail shot them a smile and began to run out the door.
When Abigail reached her car she turned on the tracking app and tossed the phone into the cup holder next to her. She started her car, then said;
"Okay. Let's see who you really are, Joshua Steele." Abigail backed the car into reverse and lit up in excitement.
