Maybe she is not perfect
But trying hard to perfect her imperfections
Maybe she is not so much of a scholar
But she struggles to learn as much as she could
Maybe her life is not as peaceful as it seems
Because she got to struggle with her nafs every single second
Maybe her smiles her not so heartfelt if you look so well, you'll know they hardly reach her eyes
And that's because she carries a lot of burden
Maybe she isn't that snob you think
Perhaps she is afraid of your rejection
Maybe she is just too worried
Because of high expectations from everyone
Maybe she wish to be like every other girl
But yet knows she had to stand out
Maybe she loves her parents so much
And wish they could support her in her deen
May be she is tired of being tag an extremist
And wish her brethren in faith won't add to it
May be she is just simple, sweet, and innocent
And that's because she is just a STRIVING MUSLIMAH
And this is why she stands out......
