Broken.
That's all they ever said Jesse Blake was.
Her uncaring aunt, her old friends, every psychiatrist that she's ever been forced into meeting.
They never understood her, the way she shut everyone out. Her snarky or condescending demeanor. Her stone cold eyes that held to much pain, lose, and suffering for one person to handle. Her impassive behavior.

Then there's Tyler Stevenson. The tall, blue eyed, brown haired,rich boy who's smiles enough to make any girl swoon in his presence. But its all an act to make everyone think he has the ideal life and family that anyone could ask for.

What if by chance these two get paired as a group to do a project that'll last a whole year. Tyler tries to open her up to see why Jesse's the person she is today, but that's the last thing she wants.

Will he be able to see past her firmly locked mask that she's secured over many years. Or will he fail in understanding her like everyone else.

Or maybe just maybe something will blossom and they will be able heal each other in ways no one else understands .
