Chapter Two: New Life and New annoying People

Veronica's POV

"Lady Veronica we are already here" Cole said stopping in front of my new flat. Cole opens the door of the car for me then gets our luggage. I give the keys to Cole and he opens the door.

"Welcome home Lady Veronica" there were two maids standing in front of the door when Cole opened it.

"Lady Veronica this is Nicole" Cole point the blonde lady with blue eyes "And this is Erika" the brown haired with black eyes, they bow at the same time after Cole introduces them to us.

"Hello nice to meet you" I offer my hand to shake hands with them but they just bow again that's too formal for people here in England.

"I'm sorry if this is small Nica" Dalton said entering the flat taking my luggage with him.

"Dal this flat is huge seriously" I literally mean it, and he didn't just buy a flat, he bought a house.

"It's good to know that you like it" he smiles and puts down the luggage beside him.

"Sir Dalton we are going to take care of that" Cole and Gab grabs our stuff and put them upstairs.

"Do you want to look around?" Dalton asks whispering to my ears my body felt electrified for a moment and it's weird.

"Sure" I smile to him. He holds my hand and guides me. We walk across a long hall and we are already in the kitchen I can smell the food will be served for dinner, we also look in the living room it was so beautiful and spacious, dining room and my most favourite part is the garden it was also like our garden back in New York.

"Dalton did you copy this garden in our house?" I ask Dalton, he chuckles and walks towards me, he held my hips and pull me closer to him.

"Silly you, I just did that because I want you to be comfortable here in London" his husky voice always gives me chills. He release me and allows me to look around, it's true all the things that I saw in our garden are all here except there are more roses and tulips which I love the most. Dalton really knows the things that I like and I don't like. The smell of the roses is so breathtaking they really smell good.

"Nica, can I ask you something?" Dalton asks I look at him sitting on the bench beside the fountain.

"Sure Dal anything" I said sitting next to him. He licks his lower lips and move closer to my face our foreheads touch, our faces are 4 inches apart.

"Just be yourself starting today and when you meet the boys because I don't want you to be uncomfortable with them or anything" I can feel his warm breathe touching my face "Sure Dal I will not pretend to be anyone especially to you" I said and he smiled.

"Oh I'm sorry, am I disturbing you?" Nicole said blushing. I immediately push Dalton away and he stares at me making me uncomfortable.

"It's ok Nicole and besides you are not disturbing us, Right Dalton" I put my arm around Dalton's neck.

"Yeah she is saying the truth" he said chocking.

"I was just going to tell you that dinner is served" her British accent was so sweet, we just nod and follow her to the dining room. We ate our dinner and Dalton guided me to my room. It was really huge it's like two bedrooms for me and the curtains are really old style- England. I look around and I have my bathtub, shower is already complete.

"Where are my things?" I ask Dalton.

"Nicole and Erika already arrange them so that you can rest now" Dalton said sitting on one side of my bed.

"I will just thank them tom." I said Dalton nods and walks towards the door and I follow him. He looks back at me and kisses me on my forehead "Good Night Nica" his voice was so sweet.
