Maddie & Kendall: More Than Bro's

Chapter Three: Shopping & Snuggles

Once everyone had stepped off of the now parked bus Abby addressed them looking over her large sunglasses. It was only now Kenzie realised they were someplace new. It was a town that looked like the towns in those Cowboy movies her dad watches. "Welcome to Forks dancers, I am giving you one hour to have a wander around the shops, stretch your legs and grab a bite to eat I'm giving you ten dollars each to buy some souvenirs or something don't be reckless" Abby spoke sternly handing out the crisp green note. Kenzie was rich she could buy all the toys in the world! Abby looked at the girls in turn. Kenzie raised her hand up in the air. Abby nodded for her to speak her necklace bouncing on her chest. "Miss Abby isn't Forks the place where the vampire Edward fell in love with that girl Bella" she asked her brow creasing in worry. A pair of arms wrapped around her shoulders and she squealed. "Ooh yes Mackenzie it is, and you'd better watch out because I hear a vampires favourite food are nine year old girls!" Maddie said with a smirk. Mackenzie pushed away her sister and frowned. "No it's not they only eat vegetables and animals their vegetarian vampires even though" Kenzie spoke adamant. Maddie rolled her eyes opening her mouth again "how are they vegetarian if the eat animals!?" but Abby cut through sharply, "Girls enough chatter get moving come on we have another four hours drive after this before we can stop for lunch at the nearest town, Be back here at ten o clock on the dot." Sarah left her moms side and skipped up to Kenzie spinning making her flowery skirt whiff up in the air. "Careful Sarah" Christy with a y called after her cautious.

Maddie and Kendall walked ahead in their own duo. Kendall looped her arm through Maddie's and they were pressed flush against each other.

In Mackenzie's mind the time went by very slowly. Her neck was sore from her craning it to watch out for vampires or maybe a vampire had sneaked up behind her and already bit her! Doctors put this cold stuff on her arm whenever they gave her injections against measles or took blood maybe the vampire smeared it over his or her teeth and that's why she couldn't feel any pain!

The bus had now turned noisy with everyone passing around Souvenir's for others to see. The bus was back driving on the bumpy roads and it made Mackenzie's head sore and it made her miss the smooth tarmac. Holly passed around a bag of bull's eye sweet and Kenzie great fully took one even though she wasn't sure if they were actual sweets or bulls eyes! So she waved apologetically to a big wine coloured fluffy bulk in a field as they drove by. Melissa pecked her cheek and sent her upstairs for a nap.

Mackenzie had hoped to go on the swing but unfortunately Maddie had already beat her there. The older petite brunette was sat sideways on the lap of Kendall who had wrapped her arms tightly around her skinny waist,her thumb gently rubbing a strip of visible skin near her lower back. Maddie had Nuzzled her head into Kendall's jaw locked her tanned arms around Kendall's neck but one had slipped down to rest just above the darker brunettes chest. Small snores escaped their opened mouths. Kenzie giggled quietly for they sounded like Peppa pig and her family. The nine year old gripped the back of the swing and turned them towards the wall so no one in the room could see them,giving them privacy, but not before moving the big warm blanket around Kendall's shoulder and draping it across Maddie's back tucking it beside them so it didn't fall off. As Mackenzie done so her hand brushed against something bristly. She looked down and saw that Kendall's baby blue halter neck top was indeed inside out. The pair were late coming to the bus after the hour and Abby was about to go mad and send out a search and rescue party. They explained they had gone to the fancy clothes shop around the corner but Mackenzie had walked around the small town of forks well more skipped and there was no fancy clothes shop there only a rather dusty one run by a grumpy old women who had a horrible sense of fashion. Mackenzie doubted Maddie and Kendall would dare step foot in that place. The brunette shrugged turning over the label, Victoria's Secret stood out in loopy pink writing. This was the shirt Maddie got Kendall for her birthday a few years ago...she still had it? Suddenly a groan left Maddie's mouth and she shuffled closer if that was even possible to Kendall who in turn tightened her grip on Maddie, Kenzie jumped so high in surprise she could have gone straight through the roof she thought.

She decided she would enlist help from the Pink Panther and Clouseu after her nap because right now it felt like these mini construction sure workers had climber into her ears and travelled to her brain and were trying to drill a hole into her forehead with their mini drill things and screwdrivers.
