Grab some popcorn and enjoy!I know for a fact that the ring was not a coincidence. I looked down at my finger. My ring was slightly big, but I had it with me everyday because it was one of the few things my mother gave me.
My ring has a lavender stone in the middle, but with the same complex design Damien has.
I'm curious now. Dad has always told me that the ring was gifted from mom's college professor. After all, she became one of the world's top musician. Of course the teachers would feel proud of her. But I remember it was custom made. One of a kind.
It even had the initials A.R.P. on it. I don't know what it means, but I need to check. But the question is how?

This was a lot harder than I expected. Not that I thought it'd be easy. I entered my physics class. I definetly was not happy when I learned who my teacher was. Mr. Carima. He's known to be strict and harsh.
I looked around the classroom and spot Damien looking out the window. Would it be weird if I sat next to him?
But luckily Sana was sitting a seat away. So I casually sat in the seat between the two of them.
Sana and I became friends last year because we hated the girls in our gym class. Their high pitched shrieks and whining were the worst.
"Sana Mana! Haven't seen you in so long." I said rather cheerfully.
"I missed you." She gave me a small pout. Just then, Mr. Carima walked in and interrupted our conversation.
"You guys will work in pairs. Your partner will be the one sitting next to you." His voice boomed. Gosh am I glad not to be seated right in front of him.
I even became grateful because i can see the spit coming out his mouth and the kids in the front wiping their faces in disgust.
Hold up. Yes. My luck is helping me because the two of us would be partners. Although I'm sad I won't work with Sana, my curiosity came first.
It was bothering me.
"Hey. My name is Ella. Ella Emerson." I smiled slightly.
He looked at me. He was silent for a flat 10 seconds. But spoke up soon. "Damien."
His voice was velvety and soothing.

I couldn't do anything. I mean. How? We finished the work and we're left with some free time. But he turned to look at the window again and Sana started talking to me. So there wasn't much to do.
The bell rang and immediately I got up and head out the door to my next class.
English. I went on ratemyteachers.com yesterday. This teacher did absolutely nothing. Just gave a book and tons of worksheet.
The room was full. There were only two seats left. I sit down and surprisingly Damien was also in my English class. He sat next to me and slightly smiled.
"So we meet again. Ms. Emerson."
"It's my pleasure." I played along.
I'm going to regret not asking. I just know it. So I gather my courage like a kid scurrying for pennies.
"Hey Damien, I've been meaning to ask. But the ring on your neck. Uh. Where'd you get it from?"
"This?" He held out the ring, giving me a better look at it.
I nod in response.
"My grandpa died two years ago. He kinda willed me to have it after he died."
"Oh. My condolences."
He just nod.
"But why do you ask?"
"Well. It looks similar to mine and my father told me it was custom made."
I held out my ring to him for a closer look.
"It looks just like mine." He states.
"Um. Do you mind if I take a look at your ring?"
"Sure." In one swift motion he took it off and handed it to me. I too slipped the ring off to let him take a look at my ring.
The initials. They were engraved on it too. A.R.P.
"Oh my Gosh." We said at the same time. He was looking at the initials too. This can't be. It's too much to be a coincidence. He took his ring out of my hand and started playing around with it. The lavender stone and emerald stone looked like a pair next to each other. In fact, it looked like it was meant to be a pair.
Suddenly there was a stray of light, which absolutely blinded the heck out of me.
When I opened my eyes. I was no longer in a classroom. But underneath a cherry blossom tree with a certain someone on top of me.
