When he asks you out Donnie

You were waiting for your brother to leave so Donnie can come and help me with my homework.
"Okay (Y/N) I'm going to work. There is money down stairs for you to order some pizza or something" he says and kisses your head before walking out of the house.
A few minutes later Donnie comes into the living room a few minutes later.
"Hey who was that?" He asks and you smile. "My older brother. He looks after me he has done ever since I was 8" you motion him to sit down on the chair next to you.

Donnies pov

I look at her and smile before sitting next to her. "Okay so let's start your homework" I say and we start her homework. My mind though keeps going to how I'm going to ask her out.

"(Y/N) I forgot my... who's this?" Her brother walks in and points to me.

"(Y/B/N) he is Donnie and he's helping me with my homework. And before you ask yes he is a turtle." (Y/N) says and her brother smiles at me. I'm shocked he isn't freaking out.

"Can I speak to ya quickly Donnie?" He asks and I nod. We go to the kitchen and he puts a hand on my shoulder. "I know that look. You love my little sister" he says and I just nod "ask her out. She has been a lot happier recently and I know it's because of you" he says before leaving to go to work.

"Hey (Y/N) I just want you to know that you make me really happy and well I care a lot about you" I say and she smiles

"You make me really happy too Donnie." She hugs me before whispering into my ear "yes I will be your girlfriend" She giggles and I look at her shocked.

"How did you?" I start but she cuts me off "I over heard you and my brother talking" She says and I smile before hugging her and continuing her homework. Once we are finished we sit on the couch, I kiss her head and hug her tight as she slowly falls asleep in my arms.
