Hana's POV
"Ever since the town hall started presenting unoccupied houses, people who wanted to live in the country have been coming steadily, by put they never last long. As you can see, there's nothing here. The elementary school and hospital are both thirty minutes away by car. The junior high is two and a half hours by bus and train, one way. That's five hours round trip! No matter how much you want to raise your children in a good environment..." The Estate agent said, but was interrupted by the bumps on the road. "The town is a lot more convenient, in my opinion." He continued.
As we drove in the car, I looked out the window and seen all the beautiful flowers, trees, hills, paddocks and more. After a while we reached a broken down house, but it was still beautiful. I put Yuki in her saddle behind me, Ame in the saddle in front of me and carried Emiko.
"Wow... It's so big." I breathed out, as I stood in front of the house.
"And I know the rent practically free, but you know, the cost of repairs is nothing to laugh at. Instead of calling it an unoccupied house-- oh, you can keep your shoes on --It's more like and abandoned house. But at least there's electricity, and the mountain stream isn't dried out, and they said you could use whatever is in the shed." He said, as he struggled to open the slid doors.
"That's a field, isn't It?" I asked.
"Oh, this place isn't really suitable for growing your own food. Animals come down from the mountains and damage the crops. Even if you make the effort to grow vegetables, they'll all get eaten. This place is full of unoccupied houses because the humans are getting kicked out." He answered.
"Then, the neighbors are...?" I asked.
"Neighbors? There isn't anyone around for miles. Shall we look at a different place? There might be a better place near the village..." He said.
"I've decided." I cut him off.
"What?" He said, stunned.
"I've decided on this place." I answered.
Time skip
"Wow! What is this place?" Yuki asked.
"Our new home." I answered.
I watched as Yuki explored the yard in amazement, Ame and Emiko was watching from behind a colon in the house, by was scared and jumped out of the house when a lizard crawled up it. When they were jumping out of the house, they tripped over, got back up and ran to Yuki and hugged one another.
"How is it? Do you like it?" I asked.
"I like it!" Yuki yelled, with joy, as Ame still held onto her dress.
"I want to go home." Ame said as Emiko hugged him tighter.
Emiko's POV
After a while Yuki went away, while Mother went to look in a small house. While she entered Yuki came back with a toad. Ame grabbed my hand and we started to run away from Yuki, crying, while she chased us, holding the toad out in ground of her laughing.
A bit latter in the day Yuki was playing in the yard, while me and Ame watched Mum clean the house. She spend all day working on it, till it started to rain. This went on for weeks. Also during that time she measured us, we would go out have a bit of fun and sometimes I would help.
During our free time, Ame and I would reed some kids books and the was this one about how humans treat wolves that really made Ame and I upset. After a couple days while Mum was in the garden working, Ame and I got hurt. Yuki kept saying that we were babies and week, even tough we're wolves. It really made me sad, our own older sister was being mean to us.
The next day we went exploring in the forest. As usual Ame and I stayed with Mum while Yuki rushed up ahead. Yuki was really impatient. She kept yelling at us to hurry up, when she should slow down. Well that's what you get for a active older sister.
"Wolves start learning to hunt at around four months old. First, they learn what hunting is with mice and other small animals. As they get older, they form teams with adult wolves..." Mum said as she read to us about wolves.
"We're a team!" Yuki yelled, as she jumped off the ground , clinging her arms with Ame's and Mine.
"No, we're not." Ame said as he tore his arm back.
"Fine, be that way." She said, letting go of my arm and crossing her arms behind her back.
After some time, I started to get into my wolf side and I started to hang with Yuki a bit more. We hunted to get her like a pack, but i could never catch anything. While I was with Yuki I started to fell sick. I stopped running and leaned over a tree, and started to vomited. Yuki noticed I wasn't with her and ran back to find me. When she did she helped me find our way back to Mum and Ame. On our way there she held a swan by the neck and brought it with us.
After a little while longer we finally found Mum and Ame. They were at a clearing with jus pt one tree in the middle. Ame also looked like he was sick. When we walked over I started to yawn. I was about to fall to the ground but Yuki caught me.
Yuki's POV
Emiko just fell to the ground, but before she hit the ground I caught her. I looked at her face and seen she was sick and asleep.
"Mummy!! Emi's sick again!" I cried out, using Emiko's nick name.
She walked up to us and picked Emiko up, and with that we started to make our way home. When the sun was setting, Emiko was inside in bed and Ame was asleep on Mothers lap. Mother was soothing his head, but when I called out to her to come to me she stopped and came.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"They withered again." I said, as I turned to our vegetables.
"What?" She cried out, as she rushed to check.
She started to talk to herself till I asked are we going to starve. She said no and asked if I'd be her little helper again. When I replied she looked past me, and told me to go back inside. I did as told and ran back, but no back inside. We spent the rest of the sun light to take down the vegetables and to redo them.
The next day it was raining. Ame, Emiko and I watched the rain and at the same time a car pulled up. We bolted and hid behind the table Mother was working on. The person who pulled up in the car, was actually a woman who looked to be around Mothers age. She handed Mother a bag said it was for things to Poland and not to listen to her Dad. She then turned to us and said hey.
I ran into the Kitchen, Ame followed but Emiko staid. She then looked around for us and seen us hiding in the kitchen and then ran after us. I was behind the kitchen door, Ame was behind me and Emiko was behind Ame. Mother apologized saying that we were shy and that.
The next day we went to go plant the Potato seeds, but the old, scary man came. My siblings and I ran to hid, and while we did Mother started to talk to him. As we watched from afar he dug up the potato seeds with his hands, then left.
All day he would tell Mother what to do, exhausting her out. Emiko would alway try to help her in anyway, but it was hard for her, being always sick, tiered and for her to be the youngest. After a while the patched was done, she was all dirt, exhausted and when we went to ask if she was okay, she fell to the ground.
The next day the other villages came over and started to help Mother with everything and even gave her stuff. Ame, Emiko and I watched as they all came. We also heard them talk about preschool. I so wanted to know what it was and to go, but Mother kept saying no.
