In Zane's younger days the citdy had filled him with excitement and adventure, but now days it was a noosense, he fell in love with the Montana's mountains, Oregon's big lakes and Colorado's pot. He loved traveling and then to come back home to the small town life in general. It had suited him just fine. Even when his family came over for a little and leave. It was nice. He didn't like a lot of noise. In his youth he had decor his truck with glass pipes and would see how loud he could make it. Before long, people could tell who was roaring down the road. In days of youth, he had put all his free time and saved money into his white Chevy 1989 truck and it still sat in his drive way, but has time went on he began to drive better and faster cars. Back then he loved the adrenline of the power and speed. Every once in a while he would take it on a back road and tear up some land just to see if the truck still had it.
He smirked has he thought back to the younger days. He had more of a bad boy wrap. He knew every cop by first name bases. It had taken a toll on him, but worth it. He was a hellion and still made to the top. He had everything a man could want, or aleast most of it. It wouldn't kill him to get married and have kids either.

But staying and thinking about the past would end turn his good mood into a bad attuide so he thought of something more present time like fixing up his house.
It was true Max passed away a couple years ago and had put it in the will that Zane have the house and the land. Never in a millions years would he think that he would like living like that, but truth be told in years he loved being a bachelor, no wife no kids he was living the life.
He was a big city billions of dollars business owner.A pretty damn good one. He didn't want to go back to where he was. The small town life wasn't his style. He was an Oregon boy raised with pride. He wanted to be the right one and be the best. Back then being rich and living it up was all he he cared about and he still did along with partying every night at clubs and beer with lots of girls. When max died that all changed he headed back home to the small town Hampton and never left again. Some days were better than others and Zane liked just being by himself and fell in love with the quiet life and kept himself busy finding odd jobs while tending big time business parties and crashing weddings. He had the money, the bad ass cars, buying drinks at the bars for women,  just throwing themselves at him. They were all boring, same overdone make-up and skimpy clothes. They had their chance but in the end getting a hold of his money was their goal.
If only she could seem him now he thought. She wasn't worth it anyway. Emily was a thing of the past and fling at eighteen. "Yeah right. His mind told him. Five years had gone by not a phone call or anything. She had left and never looked back. God know where that girl went and he meant it when he told her if she left don't expect a damn thing from him. Now he knew how she really felt.
