Chapter 24- Chivalry Is Dead and Close Kiss

Kaylee's P.O.V

I lay on my bed in the guest room because they didn't want me sleeping on the couch everything from Ken's room is now in here because its awkward...I scroll through my Instagram..well Ken's Instagram (*cough* stalker *cough*) i see photos of us from ages ago, i look through them when I didn't realise I had tears rolling down my cheeks, i miss him. I get off Instagram and go on my Spotify and play my favourite song that I'm currently learning a dance to. I get up from my bed and walk over to my mirror which is huge and I make sure I have plenty of room and begin dancing.

*Half an Hour Later*

after stopping a million times with the dance because i kept stuffing up i finally finished it, i did the little end poss when I hear clapping behind me I turn around in fright when I see Ken smiling at me.

"How long have you been standing there?" I ask

"Long enough, but that was amazing!" Ken says to me

"Why thank you Mr San Jose" I smirk

"But if you don't mind can I make a few little touches?" Ken asks

"Go ahead" I tell him, he walks over to my bed turns on the songs and signals me to begin dancing, when he comes over and begins dancing with me and adding his own little moves which actually make this dance look way better. The song finishes with our faces inches apart we slowly lean in.

Kaylee remember "just friends"

Mind shut up I'm enjoying this

I realise what I'm doing and before we kiss i pull back

"Im sorry....Ken remember we aren't dating anymore and remember we decided on friends" I say walking away and sitting on my bed

"Right...just friends" Ken mumbles the last part

"Well I'm going to go...see ya Kaylee" Ken tells me before walking out

"Oh and thank you for making my dance better!" I call out

"No problem bab- i mean Kaylee"

Kenneth's P.O.V

I walk out of the house and start heading to StarBucks, while Im walking i remember what Kaylee said to me before

"Im sorry....Ken remember we aren't dating anymore and remember we decided on friends" She says walking away and sitting on her bed

"Right...just friends" I say mumbling the last part

Did I get friend zoned twice?
