Yawning, you leaned back in your chair and rubbed your eyes. Your eyes had been glued to the computer screen for a few days now. Simply relaxing, you closed your eyes and stayed still. Inspector Ginoza had put you in charge of fixing the file incident that occurred a few days ago.
But there was a problem with the files. Not only were they moved into random places, some had been destroyed. In their place, blank files with nonsense coding. You'd had to ask for permission to the main database to partially replace the missing data. It took two weeks for someone to respond to your e-mail. Even then, the response was to ask someone else in the office. Yesterday, someone had finally granted you access. You'd spent three days replacing the files.
Though it wasn't a bad thing, no one had acted up. Causing there to be no new missions or calls. Everything was quiet now. It was slowly killing you inside. Only the Enforcers stayed. Ginoza had already left, leaving you to watch over Yayoi, Kougami, Masaoka, and Kagari. You liked them, but still.
After a while, you groaned and stood up. Grabbing your wallet, you headed outside of the office towards the vending machines. You rubbed the back of your neck, bending over to look at the options for drinks.
"Oh, I like this view."
You whirled around at the voice behind you. It was Kagari. Ever since the first day of you being an Inspector, he would flirt with you 24/7.
"Shut up," you muttered, laughing lightly. He grinned. "What are you getting?" he asked, stepping beside you. You shifted, looking at the options again.
"Maybe the soda. And probably some food."
"Ew."
"What?"
"You're wasting your money on food from a vending machine?" he asked, wrinkling his nose. You rolled you eyes. "I don't have time to get some five-star gourmet entrée."
"Then come to my room."
You jumped back. "What?"
"Come to my room. I'll cook for you." He stared down at you. Heat rushed to your cheeks as you looked away and rubbed your neck. Hours of staring at a computer with a craned neck will hurt a bit afterward.
"Are you tired?" he asked.
"No, not really," you said, slipping coins into the slot.
"Ever heard of something called being 'honest', you should try it sometime."
You narrowed your eyes at him while selecting the melon soda and energy bar. The machine dropped them into the box where you'd brag them.
"I'm not lying, I'm actually not tired," you said, grabbing the items and facing him. His head was tilted in a small smirk. You frowned, "What?"
Suddenly, he grabbed your arm and hauled you to the elevator. You yelped and tried to tug your arm free.
"Kagari! What are you doing?!" You planted your feet and yanked him back. He barely moved. Turning around, he laughed.
"Come on, Ginoza's back. I told them you'd be in your room," he said, flashing that smile at you. Your eyes widened, he lied? But then again, this was Kagari.
"How fast can you cook?"

"Take a seat and be amazed."
"Will do."
You sat on the stool near the counter and looked around. This was the first time you'd ever actually been inside his room. Though he invited you in on the first few days of working there. It was nice, clean and had a temporary feel to it.
