Now What!?

Anika's Point of View:

There was no time. I kept counting the time that was left. "DAMN!!! 30 SECONDS, 29,28,27,26,25..." Then I mumbled to myself, "There's no time. The blazzer pills will kill him if I don't drain his power. But he's weak so he can't use it! If I can suck the power out of him it will put me in danger. Since I'm not a hunter I only have about 2 minutes. I'll have to do it."

With 10 seconds left I picked up Mike and bit his neck. I drained as much power as I could, '10,9,8,7,6,5,4,-'. His skin turned back to it's original color and so did his eyes.

I felt him slip from my grasp, 'Maybe I took a little bit extra power.' I gently removed my fangs and set him on the floor. 'Now what?'

As I turned I saw Keiko looking at me with a bit of anger, "WHY'D YOU DO THAT FOR!?" He yelled at me with frustration. Then I realized that it might have looked like I was trying to eat him instead of stop him.

I opened my mouth to explain but something feel on my hand. It was a warm liquid and it was crimson red. It took me a second to realize my MOUTH WAS FILLED WITH BLOOD.

'I have to admit it tasted sweet yet salty. It was great- Why am I thinking like this especially about a hunter. Not to mention Keiko's cousin.' I quickly wiped it away and said, "I wasn't doing ANYTHING WRONG. I just drained his power so he WOULDN'T DIE!"

Keiko's Point of View:

'She was biting him in the neck and still said that SHE SAVED HIM!? I don't know weather to be angry at her or what!' Blood was still dripping from her bottom lip which ment that she must have taken A LOT OF BLOOD.

I turned my attention to Mike he was laying on the floor loosing blood........

OMFG!!! HES GONNA DIE OF BLOOD LOSS NOW!!!

Anika must have followed my view cuz she wisperd something about her overdoing it.

"Why did this happen!" She complained. I then said in a "calm" voice,"MY COUSIN IS NEAR DEATH AND YOU'RE COMPLAINING!!!" She looked at me shocked and scared I think I even made her jump.

I realized what I did and said, "S-sorry it's just..... He's the last thing I have from my family....." With that her eyes imedietly softened as she hugged me.

Then she broke the hug and said, "There is a way to give him enough blood, but I'll do it only if it's OK with you." I looked at her and asked, "What is it?" She looked down and said , "I could inject him my blood........"

'She just bit him...... And shes gonna do it AGAIN!?......... Well vampire blood does have rapidly healing magic......' Without thinking through it I said, "Do it."

She knelt down and picked up Mike. She then gently bit him. She started to glow and Mike started to open his eyes a bit. It lasted for about 20 seconds before she stopped.

I then saw that her skin was more pale than usual and her vivid red eyes were getting a bit dull. 'She had enough.' She looked like she was about to colaps so I picked her up bridal style. And before I knew it she was asleep..........

'She looked so peaceful' I turned twords Mike. He looked weak and fragile. He didn't get up but his eyes were berly opened. I just kept looking from Anika to Mike. 'They did everything.......I didn't help at all. I'm a useless coward.' I thought.

Then I remembered. 'I'm a hunter. Not a normal person. Sooooooo am I gonna still go to school? What will Mike do? If I stay with Anika what will happen? Where will we go? Where will we live ? How would we survive? Man I don't know what to do?'

I'm stuck not knowing what to do. Then I picked up Mike while holding Anika with my other arm.

'If anyone sees us here like this something might happen.' I carried them out off school property and into a dark and abandoned ally..............

Then I thought, 'I could bring them to my apartment....... But what will happen when they wake up. Will they fight? Man this is hard.......... What if I convenience them to be friends. Anika might be easy to convenience but Mike. Oh my god WHY!? WHY DO I HAVE TO THINK ABOUT EVERYTHING!!!' I just gave up and started carrying them to my apartment.............

These guys are heavy😣
