The Dragon's Treasure

Chapter one

Lucy's POV

Another gorgeous day only to be stuck in my room not allowed to leave ever, my dad was just the worst trapping me here all the time not letting me see the town or the forest I gaze apon on my balcony.
It was so lonely not being able to have someone there for you..... I'm 18 now and I'm afraid my dad is gonna sell me off to some other kingdom to marry the prince there and I will not allow that!!

I hated everything here. My life sucks and I had to think of something fast.

I get off my king size bed and walk over to the balcony opening the door and gazing on the city below.
And if I look to my left there is a forest far towards the mountains, it looks like it never ends and whoever goes in will never find there way out.
I have longed to dreamed of going in there, it looked so peaceful in there.
It was about to turn night time as the sun set over the city making everything look orange and yellow it was so pretty.
I walk to my closet grabbing a bag that hangs over my shoulder.
' I can't live my life like this.... I'd rather travel and die in nature rather than trapped in a room!' I thought to myself as I pack my bag full of clothes and items I may need.
I had a pink dress on that my mother made for me, I finished packing my bag and walked over to a picture of my mother kissing my hand and putting it on the picture where my moms face was
"Don't worry mom I'll be okay I want to go on my own adventure" I say quietly then walked over to the balcony
No one checks on me so I closed the balcony doors as I looked over the rail
'It's not that far down lucking fines grow best to my balcony' I thought to myself as I started climbing down and sprinting across the yard and over the wall in little time.
No one saw me since it was dark, I then walked directly into the forest to start my journey far away from the castle I was stuck in for so many years.
