Seán's pov:
"I'm gonna go shower".

"Ok". Mark sat on the couch watching me leave the room.

I closed the door and slid my back down the door. I rolled up my sleeves there were still noticeable scars. I've tried force myself to end my cutting day's.

I Stripped down and I made sure the shower was boiling.

I stood with my back against the wall allowing every droplet to pierce my flesh.

Once I was done buring myself, I changed and went out to check on Mark.

"Mark"?

"Comfy"? Mark titled his head scanning me.

"Um yeah". I sat next to him.

"Mark do you really want to help me"? Mark seemed so plain.

"Yes. I mean it is my job".

"But do you REALLY want to help ME"? I emphasized my word's for him to understand.

"I can not say".

"Mark if you're gonna be staying here on... earth. You should start being more 'human' like".

"What are you saying"?

"How to be fun basically". I had no other way to put it more nicer.

"If you insist". Mark nodded.

"You seem tired". Mark leaned in on my face. I could feel his breathe.

"You have dark circles under your eye's".

"You have such wondrous eye's. You should sleep".

What did my eye's being wondrous had to do with my sleeping habits?

"Thanks? But i'm fine".

"Eye's like those shouldn't have bags".

"I'll take that as a compliment". I smiled a little.

Mark's pov:
Compliments. It made him feel good. But I didn't think of complimenting him as someway to help him. I just did it not paying attention to my task.

I don't understand.

"Seán, I was human once. But not for so long I lived here for a few year's and it was decided my time was already up. I don't remember much as a mortal. But somehow those small memories are meaningful to me".

"Mark people emphasize memories because they held happiness. If you didn't, those were probably unhappy times. Mark what do you remember"?

Something hit me hard. It was sharp and painful. Something haunted me I just can't seem to remember what.

"Pain".

"Some point in your life something lead to your death or something else".

"It's a memory I want to remember than forgot. I don't know what it even is".

"You know. I've never seen you full of emotion till now". Sean looked at me with a small grin.

"You're upset, frustrated. Those are how human's feel".

I couldn't deny it.

"Seán. It is forbidden to ask the patient but I am in need of your guidance".

"While i'm here, please help me remember and become somewhat human again".

"If you're willing to then i'll try".
