Chapter 1

  You and Sakura were walking down the streets of Konoha. "__(y/n__), do you wanna grab a bite to eat?" Sakura asked you, you looked at her and nodded.
The two of you then stopped at Ichiraku Ramen shop. You both ordered instant ramen and chowed down. "__(y/n)__, Sakura!" Your wonderful lunch with Sakura was interrupted by non other then Naruto. You and Sakura churned your heads to face Naruto, who was walking towards the two of you.
"Naruto" you said as you stood up and went to meet him half way. "What up? I haven't seen you since 3 weeks ago, what have you been up to?" You asked him while giving him a hug. Sakura came over as well after paying for the ramen that you two where eating. "Hey Naruto" Sakura said as she waved
"Hey Sakura" said Naruto while waving back.
"So Naruto, what brings you here?" You asked him, "oh right, I came to see if you guys wanted to come to the party that I am holding at my place." You looked at Sakura and she looked at you, you both nodded. "We would like to go" said Sakura for the both of you. "Great...uh you know where I live right?"
"No, but I know that Sakura knows where you live. So I'll just go with her your your party." You you closed your eyes and smiled. "Great!! Than that settles that, the party is at 7, it will be awesome." He said as he gave you a thumbs up.
"Hey Naruto?" Said Sakura
"Yeah"
"Who else will be there?" She asked
"Oh right I forgot to mention that, let's see....there's Rock Lee, Choji, Kiba, Neji, Hinata, Sai, Shikamaru, Ino, Shini, Iruka sensei, Asuma sensei, Kuranai sensei, and last but not least Kakashi sensei."
After hearing Kakashi's name you started to blush, Naruto didn't notice, but Sakura did.
"Ok see ya Naruto" said Sakura as she wrapped her arm around yours and with the other one waved to Naruto. "See ya" said Naruto as he waved back
"What was that?" You said after Sakura released you from her grasp. "I have a question I want to ask you, but you have to be truthful, ok?" She said
"Ok" you said as you started to realize where this was going.
"Do you have a crush on Kakashi?" She asked you, as she did your face started to blush and you could feel the heat from your cheeks. "Umm...well...I...." You started to speak like Hinata.
"Omygosh!! You do!" She said while clapping her hands together and starting to jump up and down happily. "So what if I do?" You said crossing your hands together. "Oh nothing" she said smiling back.
"Ok, so I have a crush on him, it's not a big deal." You said trying to make her stop jumping. "Oh it's a big deal to me." She said
"Why? I mean it's not like he will ever like me back the same way that I like him." You said disappointedly and your head bowed down looking at the ground
"It's ok, __(y/n__), you don't know he might." She said trying to reassure you. "How, I'm 9 years different from him, plus I'm not as pretty as you, as some other girls." You said with small tears started to form. "__(y/n)__" Sakura said as she went to give a huge hug, "you are as pretty as a full moon on a dark knight." She said while trying to wipe your tears. "Do you want to hear what I thought of you when I first met you?" She asked you while giving a big smile.
"What?" You sad while sniffling
"When I first met you, I thought to my self, she is one pretty girl, how can I ever compete with someone like her. She had beautiful (h/c) hair, your (e/c) eyes where sparkling like the sun. And you had this beautiful out fit on that made all the boys go crazy....except Sasuke." She said "so you really don't have to think your not beautiful, he'll I'm still jealous of you." She smiled with the biggest smile her face could make.
"Really?" You said while trying to not cry because of what she said, but you couldn't keep it back any longer and you fell to your knees, with your hands on your face and you cried your heart out.
"__(y/n)__, please don't be like this, I don't like seeing you cry, and plus you have to get ready for the party which is in 4 hours." She said trying to lift you up from the ground. You followed her movements and got up. "Thank you Sakura!" You said giving her a big hug "so, where should we get the cutest outfit?"
She smiled and said "I know, follow me!"


----time laps-----


You arrived at Sakura's house at 6:50, you knocked on her door and she opened up. "__(y/n)__ you look so cute, Kakashi will definitely like you by the end of today." She sad as she was walking out of her house and closed the door behind her.
"You really mean that?" You said as you felt the blush come on "I mean I don't look like a bum?" While you looked at your (type of outfit) and trying to fix it a little.
"Definitely and you don't look like a bum, you look like a beautiful princes who needs her true love....Kakashi." She said smiling, she then grabbed you by your arm and started to pull on you. "Come on, we don't want be late" she said excitedly
"Late? I don't think that we will be the ones late" you said as Sakura got what you meant a started to laugh. "That's funny" she said "that's another thing that I forgot to mention to you earlier today." You blushed, 'I wonder, what if Kakashi doesn't show up, or what if I embarrass myself right in front of him, or...'
"We are hear!" She said dragging you out of your thoughts. "Naruto lives right here" she knocked
The door opened "finally the two of you show up, we have been waiting for you two" said Naruto showing us in. "HEY GUYS, THE PARTY CAN OFFICIALLY START!" Yelled Naruto as he closed the door behind us, everyone looked at us. While they were looking at us, I was looking for someone else. I heard a small whisper behind me, I turned around to seeing Sakura whispering something to Naruto's right ear. Naruto looked at me with the biggest smile I have ever seen on him, that's when I knew she had told him. I started to tear up a little because I thought that he would never tell. Naruto saw and hugged me, he then whispered to me "it's ok, I'm happy that you like a guy. And we will try to make him like you some way or another" he let go of you from the hug and whipped your tears away "now, let's have a party and not a crying festival, ok?" He smiled
You looked at him with happy eyes and nodded and replied "ok."
"Oh one more thing __(y/n)__ he's over there." Naruto pointed to the corner of the room where Kakashi was sitting reading his book, while Asuma was trying to read the book as well, or so tried to a Kakashi kept on tilting the book away from him. After seeing that you smiled and said "Thank you" to both Naruto and Sakura.

----2 hours later----

You noticed that Kakashi wasn't in the room with everyone else. You got up from your game with Naruto, Sakura, Iruka sensei, Asuma sensei, Choji, Hinata. And walked away "you guys keep on playing without me" you said as you started to walk farther away. You knew everyone was looking at you, you also could somewhat hear Naruto's and Sakura's smiles widen as they knew what you were doing and who you were looking for. You spotted the front door slightly open and you also noticed a shadowy figure. You decided to approach the door and opened it slowly to see Kakashi outside leaning on the railing with his back, reading his book. He looked up from the book to notice you at the front door. "Yo" he replied focusing then bak at his book
"Hey....Kakashi sensei....I" you tried to form the words but you couldn't, you then started to feel dry in your throat "I....I..." But nothing. He looked up from his book and looked at you again, you saw him close his book and walk towards you slowly. You tensed up, swallowed hard, and then all those feelings went away when you felt his hand on your head, "I forgot to mention this to you earlier at the party, but you look pretty in that outfit" those words made you smile, right before he entered back into Naruto's place you turned around and hugged him from behind, you felt him stiffen with shock. "__(y/n)__?" He said with wide eyes in shock, you let go of him, he turned around and said "Kakashi...I...I..." You were close to saying it 'damn, why can't I say it' you thought to yourself. But then you felt his hand on your head again "stop over thinking it, and just say it." He said with his eye closed and you could slightly make out a smile under his mask.
"Kakashi.....I love you." You said with your eyes closed and your hands making fists, after you said that you looked at him and his smile was gone, his eye was wide open. You thought 'did that offend him, why did I have to say that, I'm so stupid. He would like some one like me, and even if he did he wouldn't then love me' you started to tear up, with a sad voice and you head low you said "I'm sorry Kakashi sensei, that was stupid of me to say that" and you turned around and ran the other way, trying to run as fast as you could towards your place.
All you could think was 'how could I have said those words, and after saying then you just left him, your so stupid.' You finally got back to your place, you went upstairs and unchanged into something more comfortable, you turned of your lights and went to bed crying.

(Back at Naruto's place)
Kakashi just kept on standing there with the same look he had when __(y/n)__ told him that she loved him. Kakashi was then interrupted by Naruto and Sakura, "hey Kakashi sensei, have you seen __(y/n)__?" Asked Naruto, all Kakashi could say was "she went home, and so am I. Thank you for the party, I enjoyed it." He looked at Naruto and Smiled with his eye closed. He then made a hand sign and 'poofed' away. "What was that all about?" Said Sakura looking at Naruto confused, Naruto just shrugged and then went back inside to tell everyone that the party was over.

(Kakashi's place)
Kakashi took a shower and then got into comfortable clothing and went underneath his covers, turned off his lights and just layer in the dark. 'How do I tell her that I feel the same way? How do I try to comfort her after what she told me tonight? How do I try to explain it to her how I feel for her? I love her more than words could describe....' As he kept thinking about those questions he slowly started to drift away into his dreams.
