Hailey Sanders has quite an ordinary life: school, friends, ... But all of that changes on the day of her eighteenth birthday when she meets Colin Hayes who seems to follow her everywhere. After suffering an attack Hailey discovers that Colin is different, he hides a secret, he's a supernatural being, a vampire. She is forced to go live with him and the rest of his family leaving everyone she loves behind in the name of her safety. Hailey falls for him not knowing the pain that would come with it but the truth soon comes out and it crushes her more than she lets on. This new world she was dragged into has its own risks and strict laws that bind Hailey to Colin. Happiness is not her main priority, surviving is and she'll do just about anything to go back to the time where vampires were just scary stories.

Review: Great book! the writing flows smoothly, and transitions are clear and make sense. There are little to no grammar mistakes. Honestly ever since Twilight, I've been kinda thrown off vamp books, but this one...this one is a whole new level up. Def a recommended read, if I do say so myself, which I do.
