remember when i was there for you when you threw your feelings away? i was there when you let your tears stain your cheeks, letting them stain mine too. i was there when you needed me. i've been there when you drank too much, to drive you to your home. i was there to hold your hand when you saw them together in their own umbrella of bliss. i was there when you screamed and told me you still loved her and you were hurting.
i was still there when you pushed me away, telling me you were hurting me. and i was the one who still stood there waiting for you to come and tell me to wait for you and tell me you're sorry and i was the one you loved, not her.
but you didn't.
