Chapter 13: Repaired

(Kellin's POV)

He said he wanted to come over, but no one's ever come over. My mom said she was going out, and even if he comes back...I'm sure I can hide him.

My phone suddenly rang and I picked up quickly to not make much noise in the big home. I liked the environment to be quiet, because in times of loudness it just reminded me of my mom.

"Hello," I answered.

"Kellin, I'm outside." Mike answered.

"I'm going," I answered and hung up, I walked to the door and opened it slowly. Waving my hand to get him to come in quickly. I opened the door and let him in.

"Hey love," he said, placing a kiss on my cheek.

"Hey Mike," I kissed his lips and he smiled.

"So what's with rushing me in?" He asked.

"Well, my mom has an affair with the neighbor so if my neighbor saw you with me. He would tell her and I would get in trouble," I explained.

"Oh," was all he could say.

"Come on, let's go upstairs," I said with a smile. He followed me and Ito my room we went.

"This is nice," he said.

"I like to keep things tidy," I looked around feeling proud. "Such a fucked up family and my room gives a whole different definition." I joked.

"Such dark sense of humor," Mike commented.

"Since day one babe," I spoke as I sat on the bed. He sat next to me and grabbed the huge teddy bear to my bedside.

"This one is that stupid present that boy gave you?" Mike asked.

"I got a ton of presents, but also a bunch of hate notes," I laid my head on the teddy bear.

"My love makes up for all those stupid things...even this present, blah!" He said, choking the teddy bear.

"Hey, don't be mean to General Sparkly Sunshine!" I said, getting up and taking the bear. I hugged the bear tightly.

"Aw, don't you love me more?" Mike asked, with a fake pout.

"You can say what you like," I teased. I looked at his and he was looking at his hands.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"I know I don't have a lot of money to spoil you. And that I messed up once...but I do care for you a lot. I worry for you and worry you'll get hurt by that bitch you live with," he said, not looking away from his hands.

"Mikey!" I whined and he looked up with surprise. I then threw myself on top of him and straddled him, throwing the teddy bear to the side.

"I love you so much! Forget the money! I love you the way you are...who cares of what you've done. You were kind to me and you care for me. I care for you babe," I said, my face hidden between his neck.

"I do-" he then cut himself off when we both heard noise down stairs.

"Kellin!" We heard the loud voice.

"Oh God, Mikey hide!" I whispered. We rushed around and lastly he hid under the bed. I then heard my name be called out four more times.

"Kellin!" My mom yelled.

"Yes! I'm in here!" I called out to her when I heard she was near my door.

"Oh," she said as she opened the door.

"Hi...mom," I mumbled.

"I called to you. What were you doing?" She already sounded pissed off.

"I'm sorry. I didn't hear you," I said, looking at my bed.

"You're lying. You were ignoring me!" She yelled.

"No, I didn't-" I then felt a punch on my face, I wasn't focused because I was looking at the bed, so I fell.

"Answer when I call to you next time," was all she said, and she walked out. I couldn't bring myself to look at Mike. I sat up on my bum and placed my head on my knees.

I heard Mike get out from under the bed. He went to my side and sat down next to me.

"You still love me, right Mike?" I asked.

"Yah...I love you," he said, placing his head on my body.

"I should go..." Was all he said and he decided to leave through the window. I got up and watched as he leapt through the spaces of roof and onto the ground and walking off.

I looked out into the distance of roofs and sighed to myself.

"As long as you love me..."
