Joe wake up by his alarm clock as usual. He feel like it was christmas because he is so exited. Today is the day he has been waiting for for so long. He is finally bringing his boyfriend Caspar home to meet his dad. His dad don't even know that he is gay, but Joe isn't afraid of what his dad will say. He know that his dad suports LGBTQ+. He puts on a pair of black skinny jeans and a white t-shirt. He walks in to the bathroom and styles his hair. After that he walks down the stairs in to the kitchen.
"Morning dad." he says and takes a bowl to eat his yogurt in.
"Good morning Joseph. What a lovely day it is, don't you think?" his dad say cheerfully.
" Yeah it is." Joe says with a look of confusion in his face. His dad was never this happy in the morning.
"Anything special happening today dad?" Joe asks and take a spoon from a drawer. He sits down by the table opposite his dad.
" Yes, actually we're having guests over tonight. I want you and Zoë to meet my new girlfriend Emily."
"What!? Since when did you get a girlfriend dad?" Zoë shouts as she enters the kitchen and sits down with her dad and younger brother.
"I have the same question. And does this mean that I can't bring my friend home with me today?" Joe says with a hint of sadness in his eyes. Zoë, who knows about Joe and Caspar, gives him a look that clearly says "sorry."
" Me and Emily met about three months ago now." Graham says and continues: " She's bringing her son too. I think he's the same age as you Joe. And no, you can't bring your friend home today, I'm sorry." He gets up and starts walking out the door. " Have a good day in school kids! Love you." He says and shuts the door.
Joe feels really sad. He and Caspar had planned this for such a long time. Zoë, who sees her brothers disappointed face gives him a hug and says: " I'm sorry Broseph. I know how exited you were for today. We have to go to school though now." Joe nods and puts his bowl and spoon in the dishwasher.
*At school*
Joe stands by his locker when he feels two arms around his waist. "Hi Caspar" he says and turns around and gives his boyfriend a real hug and a quick peck on the lips. Joe sees that Caspar has something on his mind.
"What is it?" he asks with worry in his voice. " It's just that." Caspar looks down at his feet. " I can't come to your house after school today. My mum had planed something without telling me and I'm so so so so sorry Jojo! We had planed this for so long and..." He was caught of by Joe who kissed him again.
" It's alright Casp. My dad has invited his new girlfriend and her son to eat dinner with us, so I was going to cancel anyway." Joe says. " Thats good for your dad Joe." Caspar says and gives him a smal smile. "Yeah, but bad for us." Joe says. " I have to get to class, see you later" Caspar says and starts to walk away as the bell rings.
*After school* ( sorry for time skips)
Joe walks up to Caspars locker. " See you tomorrow then." he says.
"Yeah, bye." Caspar says before bending down to kiss his shorter boyfriend. The continue kissing for awhile. " Um, sorry to interrupt but, Joe we need to go home now." Zoë says and giggles. The boys blush. "Bye Casp". Joe says and walks with his sister to her car.
When they get home, they walk to their rooms. Zoë to get changed and Joe to wait for tomorrow to come so he can se Caspar. He checks the time at his phone and sees that he has got a message.
