A Village, A Lord, And Her Guard

Chapter 2: The Gates of Phoenix Drop

Everyone heard the announcement and they all headed to where they were supposed to go.

Everyone was getting ready, people were in the front, some on top of the wall, some just surrounding the whole village! It looked amazing on how they set each one of their selves up, Lord Aphmau was always so proud of her village.

So, O'khasis came closer and they finally reached the front gate. And Aphmau yelled curiously, "Zane, why are you back here? We have not done anything to you, don't do anything rash. Or else I will.. Ughh.. nevermind, just don't you dare lay a finger on our village, with your dirty lies and tricks." With Zane's reply: "Oh, obviously you have not done anything Aphmau, but my older brother did, plus I won't lay a finger on your village, yet. We will see, if my brother does actually listen once in his entire life!" Zane started yelling, but it did not frighten any villagers because they would protect each other. Besides, who gets scared of a single yell?

Aphmau was shocked by Zane's sayings, and how he said it, so angrily. She had to ask what did "his brother" do? And who IS Zane's older brother. There were so many questions flying around her head. But what bothered her the most was who was Zane's older brother? So she asked.

"Zane! Who is your older brother!" She asked curiously. "Oh! So you don't know all your villagers as well as I thought. Anyways, here is a surprise, my older brother is Garroth." Zane said.

"Wait? Zane-Garroth? What?!- WAIT! do you have more siblings that turned against you?" Aphmau was confused. "Um- yes there is someone else that is related to me but he is younger than me, here is another surprise, it's Vylad." Zane said.

"Uhhh--? WAIT! Ok, we are getting out of the topic here. WHY exactly do you need Garroth? And are you going to cause an issue here? Or are you going to just leave?" Aphmau said. "HAHA! WHAT A FOOL APHMAU! You should know me more! I thought you knew me, as well as I thought myself, heh the sayings are true 'You learn something new everyday' very funny Aphmau, but seriously I always come here with a problem. (Hehe) Ok, go talk to your guard over there *glares at Garroth* and learn why I am here for him," Zane said.

Aphmau got worried because Zane always has tricks under his sleeve, he would always tell lies which even if they were small, the small lies turned into HUGE ones. Sometimes, it would even cause village wars. All Aphmau could do was hope.
