Chapter 2
Tatiana's POV
"Hey, open up." I called, knocking on the door for the millionth time. What was taking her so long? I called telling her I was coming almost five minutes ago.
"Hey, do you mind?" A voice chuckles from behind me. The sound of his deep husky voice sends shivers down my spine.
I turn back to meet the eyes of Jason, Jades older step brother.
"I can let you in you know." He smirks, showing off all his straight white teeth. "If you would just step aside..."
"Oh right." I gasp, clumsily shuffling out the way.
"So, are you here to see Jade?" He asked, turning back to give me another mind blowing grin.
"Well I'm not here to see you, if that's what you were thinking." I scowl at him.
Seeing him so looking so god damn sexy really pissed me off, with his dark brown hair and deep blue eyes - why did he have to be so gorgeous? He had a smile that could make your knees melt, or leave you in some way gobsmacked. He was about 6"1, and quite muscular, yet slender all at the same time. And he truly believed that he was god's gift.
Moments after being lost in his gaze, I clock. Now I remember why we broke up. He left without saying goodbye, and then he didn't even bother to call. I didn't even know he was back in town. Well I wasn't going to sit around and play Mrs. Nice. I got over him a long LONG time ago.
"Why do I get the feeling that you don't like me anymore?" He frowned, opening the door for me to step inside.
"Shut up Jason." I snap, pushing past him.
"Hey, what's up Tat?" He asked, giving me that same sweet look that I used to love so much.
"Jay Jay!" I shout through the house. "Jay Jay? Where are you women?"
"Tat?" I hear her voice call from up stairs.
"Hey Tat wait." Jason holds onto my arm. "Can we talk?"
"No, I have nothing to say to you." I yank my arm out of his hold, before running up the stairs to meet Jade. Leaving him at the bottom of the stairs, speechless.
"Tat, I didn't know you were going to be here so soon. You texted saying you were coming just a minute ago."
"I said that because I was already on my way." I explain, taking a seat on my favourite spot in her room, by the window.
I loved the spot because you could see the whole garden from there. And Jades house was MASSIVE; she her lawn was the size of an average football pitch, and her mother's garden patch grew all kinds of things. It ranged from flowers to vegetables, and all kinds of fruits. It was beautiful.
"What's wrong?" She sighs, taking a seat on the floor beside me. She could always tell when something was bothering me.
"You didn't tell me Jason was back." I state in an accusing tone.
"I'm sorry babes, but I didn't want you getting upset." She admits, "How did you know he was here anyways?"
"He just let me in the house a second ago. Because YOU weren't answering the door."
"I'm sorry Tat." She bows her head in shame.
"It's alright." I laugh, giving her a tight hug, "I'm totally over him anyways, Remember?"
"Of course you are." She smiles, returning my hug.
"Besides, I didn't come here to talk about Jason." I jump to sit up, getting excited. "I came here to tell you something else."
