Misconceptions about Pakistan

Aaaaahhhh!!!! So, finally we Pakistanis have our own league. Playing cricket among ourselves. Too happy and all butttt the question is the same.
Why why and why? Where did it happen again? Dubai. Yes, you heard it correct. Pakistan Super League turned out be a very positive initiative in cricket world. All Pakistanis loved watching the series but that was played in Dubai. Being called Pakistan's league it should be in Pakistan. But no. Foreign players won't come here.
A shame. Total shame. Idon't know if every one is okay with this or not?! But I'm not. Something that is representing Pakistan should be happening in our own land. That would make it the big super league.

On a bad part, I admit to the fact that the security system here is not reliable. But can't the government make an effort? Can't? Why is our government like this? I mean we all are living here, no one harms us. Why would they harm outsiders? They didn't harm Brandon from Human Of New York, right? But again, no one was as such aware of his presence. And if players had come here, can't say exactly what would have happened. But this is also a fact that nothing wrong happens to our own players here.

Secondly, as I'm a medical student so two months back, I attended an International symposium. There were around 108 or more foreign speakers in that. Even I was appointed to play minder to one. They all stayed here in Pakistan for like five days or so and then left. No harm reached them. But again, they all were well protected. But isn't it obvious? Like we always put our guests and their safety first. That could have been done for the foreign players, that's what I believe. If outsiders are fearful to come then they are not wrong 'cause the fault is of government's. Like if they take proper measures and protect them well and make an effort to call them here, it would be beneficial for all. But no. They don't give a damn.

They played it outside Pakistan and government is okay with it. I wonder when will this change. A change has to be made. I don't know how and who will do this and this should be done. But there are a lot of things that need correction first.

I hope that fine day comes soon. We see people come here without any fear. Ours is a beautiful country. People need to see for themselves. All I do is hope and pray.

And yes, there would have been more hoots, shouts, cries, craziness if it had took place in Pakistan. Because you all know. We live here. All the crazy fans. We wouldn't have missed it. Well, most wouldn't have. It would have been a total different scenario. All happy crazy faces. Then all hyper emotional faces, too. Would have been more crowded, more fun. All the enthusiasts would have been there. Oh, what a lovely experience that would have been, seeing every one in our own land. Cheering for ourselves. But alas.. That's a dream. And I'm a strong believer of DREAMS COME TRUE BECAUSE THEY DO. Yes, they would for good. InshaAllah. :)))
