Misconceptions about Pakistan

Fear..

You all are afraid of coming here, right? Why?? You think we'll attack you or something?? THIS IS THE BIGGEST MISCONCEPTION ABOUT US. Why would we?? We are normal human beings just like you all. Why do you even think like this about us?

I had no idea that people outside Pakistan think this way about us until one day on Facebook I saw some joke about us. I was like really? In that joke some woman was afraid of the person sitting next to her on plane just 'cause he was from Pakistan and she thought the guy must be having grenade in his turban. Really guys? I mean you know what this thinking has to stop.

Firstly, we don't wear turbans. Some people from certain area might do but here in normal days NOONE, NOT EVEN A SINGLE PERSON WEARS TURBANS. Never in my life I have seen anyone except for elder people who are like 60+. Ya, those old people might wear turbans to cover their head and mostly such people live in villages but for the majority, no we DON'T. This joke doesn't even fit right on us. But okay, we take that turban thing in a joke as okay, but GRENADE???? Really people?? You think we all are killers? NOOOOO. WE ARE NOT KILLERS, MURDERERS, ATTACKERS. The world has to know this and has to accept us as they accept every other country and nation. We are just like you all, with the same hearts and needs.

Just because a few people have done something wrong with you and somehow you think they are Muslims then just get it you all, WE ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THOSE PEOPLE. We are as innocent as you all are.

Recently my sister was talking to one of her friend's who's from France. He told her he would never visit Pakistan 'cause he's afraid. Like why? People go to America, England, France, Saudia, etc all the time but when it comes to Pakistan, you all are so damn scared?

Saudia Arabia is also a Muslim country but none of you is afraid of going there as you think that's peace loving country. TBH I think it's only 'cause Saudia is a rich country you find it safe but here, 'cause of all the poverty you think it's unsafe to come??? Well, you may find a lot of difference in my country and yours but it doesn't mean we are killers. We are NOT. We are as human as you all are.

I admit there is no proper system in Pakistan, we need to develop more, I agree. We lack in many things. You won't find that environment here that you find in your countries, but I guarantee you, we won't kill you. Stop assuming it on your own. Consider us human like you all. You don't wanna visit our land, it's totally your choice, we are okay with this but don't give the reasons that we are attackers or something and you're afraid of coming here 'cause we're gonna take your life, 'cause believe you me we are just like you all, we lack in many resources but still we are innocent, we don't do harm to any one. We are as much peace loving as you all are.

  

Peeps I really want you to know, we are just like you, don't think wrong about us. And if any of you wants to discuss anything about Pakistan, feel free to comment, I'll discuss that in the next chapter. :)
