Mass Effect: After the Smoke Falls

Party time!

(NOTE: I am making three parts to the party in this chapter, one for each stage and eage stage will have devided parts in it, each for the diffrent groups of people. Obviously this is a copy of the party on the Citadel DLC and I am trying to get a fresh conversation in each group so bare with me :D!)

PRE-PARTY

The first thing Shepard noticed about Tali’s home was that It was a lot like the apartment on the Citadel, except it didn’t have all the artwork and sculptures.

“This place is gorgeous!” Traynor said. “I’m pretty sure the electric bill could pay for my college tuition alone, again.”

“Actually no, Samantha Traynor.” Said a flat, monotone voice. Everyone turned and saw a white Geth Hunter with red optics and a Black Widow sniper rifle on its back. “This house is hydro-powered, it is completely cost free.”

“Orion, this is the crew of the Normandy-SR2.” Tali said, showing the large group of people. “And this is Commander Shepard.” She pointed at John.

Orion walked over to Shepard. “Shepard-Commander. You helped bring full intelligence to the Geth and end the Morning War. Admiral Tali has told me about you. I am Orion, Legion’s soul. You are welcome to stay as long as you wish.”

“Legions soul?” Shepard asked. “What does that mean?”

“Legion sacrificed itself to give us automony. Legion was a prototype Geth Protector, the only of its type. I am the only one of our platforms to be close to Legion’s personality but with minor diffrences.” Orion said.

Shepard held out his hand. “Well its nice to meet you Orion.”

Orion shook Shepards hand. “It is nice to meet you, Shepard-Commander. I will be here to converse data when wanted.”

“Well, I think we should get this party underway.” Robert said. “We need to unwind.”

PART 1

“So your telling me that-“ Kaidan started to say.

“Yes.” Elena said.

“So you’ve been serving for as long as Shepard and I?”

“Yes.”

Shepard sat down at the chair across from where Kaidan and Elena sat at the couch. “What’s going on here?”

“Shepard, did you ever meet Elena at the N7 training?” Kaidan asked.

“I don’t know.” Shepard shrugged. “I met a lot of N7 at the training, never really met a lot of people there.”

“I was in the Engineer corps.” Elena said. “I never met anyone in the Biotic department.”

“Huh.” Kaidan said. “Well I’m glad you stayed in, we needed your technical  expertise.”

“Is that why or do you mean something different.” Elena winked.

“I’ll leave you two alone” Shepard said with a smirk as he got up and walked away.

“Come on, you really want to start this conversation again?” James asked Liara.

“Vega, biotics trump physical strength by a mile, just saying.” Liara said, holding her face in her hands.

“You two at it again?” Shepard chuckled.
