You sat on the floor of your room, playing with random things like blocks, legos, and anything you could get your hands on to free you from the constant boredom you always had
"Y/N! Come meet your new brothers!" You heard your father calling you from downstairs, his words highly confusing you
You hurried downstairs, your mind suddenly racing with questions
'Why would father adopt kids? He doesn't even like them!'
When you reached your father, there was a boy with brown hair, possibly no more than a year older, and a younger boy who looked about five (Mokuba is 5, you are 9, Seto is 10)
"Hi! I'm Y/N!" You decided to break the awkward silence shared by your father and new brothers
"I'm Mokuba, this is Seto!" The younger one replied for his older brother who seemed a bit bored (Mokuba said that was when he stopped smiling and calling him Moki so I'm just gonna say that's when he bacame a bit more like the Seto we know today)
You smiled, knowing you would be friends with Mokuba instantly with you two sharing the same cheerfulness, but you couldn't say the same for his brother, Seto
"You three go play, Y/N, you know the rules, boys, don't interrupt my work or I'll throw you back into that orphanage faster than you can say 'Kaiba'!"
You and Mokuba played with blocks and legos in your room, but Seto went into his new room doing Ra knows what
"So what's it like living here?" Mokuba asked reaching over for two blue legos to put into his assemble of white ones
"Boring. You may assume its great living with someone rich and all... But because he works is why he's rich, and working means he doesn't really pay attention to you..." You sighed a bit sadly handing him another pile of white legos
"That's kind of what might be happening with me and Seto, because he hasn't been smiling like he used to, and is acting a bit more serious then normal..." He finished his block of white with two blue legos that looked like eyes
"That looks really cool Mokuba!" You praised admiring the figure attempting to cheer him up
"Thanks..." He sighed getting up and exiting to the hall looking kind of upset
'I hope I didn't make things worse...'
