CHAPTER 3

"Hey Serenity!" You smiled sitting next to your best and pretty much only friend 

"Hi Y/N, I have a question..." She said kind of sadly

"What is it?" You asked wanting to help your friend if it was anything bad

"Its about Tristan and Duke... I think they both really like me and they seem like they both wanna go out with me, but I don't know who to choose!" She sighed lookeing down at her tray (its lunch btw)

"Well if I were you I'd pick Tristan, I mean... Duke doesn't care about his fangirls, and that might happen to you. Plus, he has so many he'll probably get over it"

"Thanks..."

She still didn't seem like her normal, cheery self, but you wanted to do everything in your power to help her snap out of this boy fiasco

"Ay Y/N!" One of your two best friends called out to you as you were leaving the school

(A/N, I'm doing this like pretty much everyone where Yami and Yugi have sperate bodies, and Bakura and Ryou are like twins, and so are Malik and Marik)

"Yeah?" You asked walking up to him

"I heard you wanted to learn Duel Monsters, so I wanted to introduce you someone who'll defiantly teach you!" He said walking off, gesturing you to follow

"A game shop...?" You questioned as Joey stopped in front of Kame Game

You and Joey walked in as two boys sat at a nearby table playing what looked like Duel Monsters

"Yami, Yugi!" Joey said walking up to the table causing the two boys to look up

On had bright, cheerful eyes with spiked up hair that was black and reddish purple at the tips, with blonde points coming down by his face

The other seemed more mature, with sharp eyes and the same hair as the other but a little more spiked up at the top

"This is Y/N, she wants to learn to play Duel Monsters but K- uh, her brother won't teach her" When Joey almost said 'Kaiba' you stomped on his foot, reminding him you hated being a Kaiba

"Okay! We'd be glad to teach her!" The more cheerful one exclaimed picking up his duel deck

The more mature looking one started doing the same, as you decided he was probably Yami

"When can we start?" You asked eagerly wanting to jump with joy, but you refrained yourself knowing it would be quite stupid to randomly start jumping

"We can start now if you'd like!" Yugi said putting a section of his cards in his pocket

"That would be great!" You exclaimed almost jumping for joy this time

"Yami, can you show her the basics? I need to get something" Yugi asked walking to a nearby shelf lined with cards​​​​

"Sure..." He muttered leading you upstairs

"If I play a face down card in defence mode, and a card face down, what do you do?"

"Uh..." You examined your hand carefully thinking about what he had taught you about spell, trap, and magic cards

"Chu-Ske The Mouse Warrior to destroy your defence cards?" It came out as more of a question then a statement

"You triggerd my trap, Bottomless Trap Hole, which banishes your monster!" He flipped the card over, revealing a monster being sucked into a hole

"Glad I played a weak monster..." You sighed releaved, glad you didn't play your secret strong monster

"That's an excellent stratagey, Y/N"

"I'm back!" Yugi said walking into the room with cards

"I decided that since Y/N is new to dueling, she should have a better deck!" He looked at your small pile of cards next to you, and the Chu-Ske in the banished pile

"Thanks so much Yugi!" You exclaimed looking at the cards in his hand

He handed you all the cards, leaving you with surprise, shock and happiness on your face, as he replied with a simple smile

"How's she doing?" Yugi whispered to Yami who was looking at your exited face with a small smile

"Oh, uh, very good..." He said snapping back to reality to face Yugi who had a slight smirk on his face

"Yugi..." Yami threatened glaring into Yugi's gleeful eyes with his threatening ones
