The Meeting

Today was the day I had a meeting with Luke! I have to admit I'm kinda excited about the meeting. I'm kinda tired of not being able to do this project. Romeo and Juliet was my favorite play and I liked what we were supposed to do with this assignment. I went to the bathroom took a shower after I got out of the shower I brushed my teeth and then my hair. I walked out of the bathroom to my huge closet and picked out an outfit.(picture at the beginning of chapter.) after I got dressed walked over to my vanity, straightened my hair and applied a little makeup. I grabbed my backpack and walked to the kitchen where I greeted my parents,got some toast and left. When I got to school some girls walking by complimented my outfit. Not thinking about it I forgot that I usually dress way fancier than this so... My day went on. While walking to math I bumped into Luke for the 2nd time in the last 2 days. Yay me.....Of course I drop everything being the klutz I am.
(AN/ is klutz even a word? Well it is now...)
He stopped yet again and helped me pick up my stuff. He asked me about where we were meeting at. I immediately answered and said "café Sydney" (AN/ I looked up places to eat in Australia and this came up so... Yea that's terrible.)
After I got done picking my stuff up I started walking to math. But I wasn't alone I looked beside me and there was Luke. I was kinda curious as to why he was walking with me.. So I politely asked
"Hey Luke?!"-Ash
"Yea Ash."- Luke
"Don't take this the wrong way! But why are you walking with me?"
-Ash
"Oh I have a class down here. And I thought maybe it was ok to walk with my friend." -Luke
"Oh! Well yea it's fine! I was just curious. So..." -Ash
"Yea! Well here's my class! I'll see you after school! Bye Ashley." -Luke
"Bye Luke!" -Ash
Well that was awkward.. Anyways I finally got to math. I'm surprised I wasn't late to class.

After school I started walking to the café where I was supposed to meet Luke.  I walk in and sit at a table by the window. I get up to go get a coffee. When I came back there was Luke waiting by the door. I walked over to him and told him where I was sitting and asked if that was an okay place to talk about the project. We had finished planning what we were going to do. And we just need to know where we were going to work. What time, what days, if we were going to work on it during the weekend and stuff. Then Luke politely said.
"Hey ash! Umm I have to leave. I'm sorry I thought my mom would understand that it was for a project and not some date... So can I have your number?So I can call or text you later about the project."

"Oh! Yea that's fine. Here is my number. Feel free to call or text me anytime. Thanks for coming! Goodbye Luke! Talk to you later! Wait do you think you can drive me home? My house is kinda far away and it'll be dark; by the time I get home. If you can't that's fine."
~Ashley
"Umm yea that's fine. Just let me tell my mom I might be a little late getting home. And the we'll leave!"
Luke returned shortly after he got off the phone with his mom. We got in his car. It was really quiet with the exception of the music playing quietly in the background. After a while he said he wanted me to listen to some ep that he and his band had been working on. The song was good girls. It was a really good song. I liked it! I liked the meaning behind it. Speaking I was a "Good Girl" but I wasn't.. I mean I was; I just haven't gotten caught.. He asked me a question that I didn't think anyone would ask me in a million years.. It was if I would go to some party his band was having on Friday! And I said yes. But I didn't know what to wear so I asked. "Hey Luke since I've never been to a party before.. What should I wear?" *awkward silence*
"Umm I guess like a semi-short dress and heels I guess.. I'm not really sure. Nobody has ever asked so I guess that would be fine." Says Luke with and unsure tone.
"Um here's my house. I guess I should go now." Quickly ash stated..
"It's funny that you said this is your house I live a few houses down.. And the party is at my house so that's great. We'll see you tomorrow or Friday.. Goodbye Ashley."
"Goodbye Luke!"
I got out of the car and walked up to my door. When I saw Luke park across the street 2 house down from mine. I thought it was strange because I had lived here for a year and I'd never seen him around here before.
