The engagement party

Today was the day..i was finally going to meet my fiance ya you heard me I'm getting married with a guy that I'm meeting for the first time today. Something about my family is that the 2nd child has to have an "arrange" married.."luckily" it was me why did i have to be the 2nd child just why. Yah Nayomi why aren't you ready my mother yelled as she came in my room i don't want to go i said quietly she slaped me across the face WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T WANT TO GO YOU ARE GOING YOU PATHETIC CHILD I GOT YOU A NEW DRESS FOR TODAY she yelled. My dad immediately came in honey she's going to get ready let's wait outside he said taking my mother and closing the door. I had no choice i got the dress that my mom got me out of my closet.

I looked at myself in the mirror i swore in frustration not only cause my right cheek was red but i had two visible scratch marks across my cheek from my mother's nails. She'll be more angry if she saw them i immediately put some make up on so they wouldn't show. I walked out I'm ready i said quietly let's go then my dad said walking out my mother followed i was nervous and terrified i got in the car ready my dad asked yes i replied he started the engine and drove to the other families house. When we arrived to the house i was silent as my parents introduced themselves honey introduced yourself my mother said in such a different tone then usual. I bowed hello I'm Nayomi Park nice to meet you all i said aigoo you guys have such a polite daughter a lady i think his mother said thankyou my mother replied. Taeyeon come please the lady said suddenly a women came she looked like in her 20's older than me hello I'm Taeyeon their daughter she introduced herself we bowed. Ah you must be Nayomi she said yes i replied i really hope you can handle our Leo-shi she said as she huged me don't worry he might look scary but he's a softy! And he won't be able to resist; you're so beautiful she said making me blush oh thankyou i said soon we sat on the couch. It's been an hour and a half Taeyeon finally got up calling Leo down she sighed sorry on his behalf Nayomi-shi she apologized i smiled of course not its totally fine i don't mind i said. My parents seem quite irritated but everything was forgiven when Leo came down the stairs in his suit and greeted them respectfully. He had the height and looks of a model and looked very sharp and eye-catching. We made awkward eye contact for some seconds then he looked away please let's go to the kitchen and eat his mother said we all nodded and followed her to the table Leo had it sit by me i want to leave our food came my mother asked questions as same as his mother too. When we finshed we all went to the living Leo his dad said looking at him he rolled his eyes and got up he took my hand get up please he said softly i did so suddenly he got on one knee and took a red velvet box out of his pocket. Nayomi Park would you marry me he asked opening the box showing a ring.

I had the eruge to say no but i had yes i replied he put the ring on everyone claped. Aigoo I'm so happy for you both finally my son is going to get married Leo's mother said he rolled his eyes Leo why don't you bring Nayomi upstairs so you guys came know each other more his dad suggested he nodded please come he said going upstairs i bowed in excuse and followed. As we got inside his room he flopped on a chair in his room and looked at me just so you know this is for the sake of my company he said you shouldn't expect anything he added yes i replied quitely and it was my parents and his agreed to share resources and combine together if we got married my mother was the same had to marry my dad she was the middle child..that's why she wants me to do it cause I'm the middle child plus my sisters are already married. Leo crooked his head to the side curiously, "So why are you even agreeing to the wedding? Clearly there isn't a lot in it for you. From what I've heard, you won't be taking over to your father's company. My mother wanted me to i simply replied he snickered what are you? Three years old? I didn't reply when he opened his mouth to snap at me there was a knock on his door.

Yah Leo you're not scaring Nayomi are you Taeyeon asked coming in he rolled his eyes she narrowed her eyes at the scene. Yah why is Nayomi standing? She seemed furious Leo simply shrugged his shoulders she never said she wanted to sit he replied. Taeyeon was close to exploding.

It's okay unnie I prefer standing i said smiling alright then come down we're going to watch a movie she said leaving. Yes i replied quitely excuse me Leo i excused myself and walked out and went downstairs i sat down and watched the movie Leo came down some time later and sat by Taeyeon i sighed.

Soon we needed to leave thankyou for coming Leo's mother said oh no problem thankyou my mother replied with a smile bye Nayomi see you soon Taeyeon said hugging me you too unnie i replied with a smile we said our goodbyes and left.

So Leo seems like a friendly guy eh, Nayomi my dad said breaking the silence in the car he's alright i guess i replied as i played candy crush in the back seat. Yah! Someone like you should be happy to be wed to such a polite and handsome boy!" My mom snapped.

Soon as we got home i said my good night's to my parents and went to my room and changed into some comfortable clothes i cleaned my face and laid on the bed thinking about today gosh Leo is so mean why did i have to be wed to him..i sighed suddenly i felt my phone vibrate i check and it was Ravi my best friend we've been friends since we were born 'So how was it' he texted 'I don't know he seems mean'. 'Well i was wondering if you wanted to go out tomorrow to clear you mind..hm..how does that sound' he asked 'sure why not i need to go to sleep before my mother comes in and snaps at me' 'okay night sweet dreams Nayomi' 'Night Ravi'.

With that last text i put the phone away and went to sleep.
