This may have been the longest week of my life. June stayed over almost every night of the week, thrilled about the party. I on the other hand was kind of dreading my descicion.

He has been keeping his distance, but does make funny/flirty comments occasionally, however I did get more friendly with Rose. Turns out she's really cool and defenitely a potential friend. June didn't really like her at first but I think she's getting used to her being around. She's sitting with us almost every day at lunch, and when she's not sitting with us she's sitting with him. Turns out they know each other since diapers, and he has been living everywhere and nowhere because of his dad's work. He moved when he was in 5th grade, he used to be really dorky and had really long hair so that's probably the reason why nobody remembers him.

June is just suspicious of why she's sitting with us instead of the "in" crowd.

When Rose keeps telling her she doesn't think they're "the cool kids", and that June and I are much more intresting. Which I personally understand, but June always has been a little obsessed with wanting people to notice her because of her background.

"So the party is today and we're going to give this one a brand new look, you wanna come?" June asks Rose, refrerring to me. "Yeah sure, I could use some new party clothes. Or just any party clothes at all." She said excited. I look at June a little freaked out by the sudden sweetness towards Rose but I let it slide. "So shall we meet at the northgate mall after school?" I suggest. "Yeah sure. I'm excited." June said. "We should go on tumblr to look for inspiration for outfits and hairstyles."

We've been walking around the mall for about an hour and I'm already exhausted. I tried on 7 different dresses, all too short, or too long or just too ugly. I think I'm just going to end up wearing jeans and a shirt. "We should just go to the hairdresser first because this isn't working out." June sighs. "I agree."

My hair is red brown-ish, I never really loved my hair but not to the point that I wanted to dye it another shade. I found a really pretty picture of a haircolor that I like, I also want it shorter, but that's too big of a commitment, and I'm just not ready for that.

"It's perfect." June gasps. They're both looking me up and down taking in the whole look. "It is pretty isn't it?" I said looking in the mirror, it's weird seeing me this way, I don't feel like me, the old me. "Maybe I just have to get used to it, but I do feel a little unseasy and not like myself at all. But that's a good thing right?" I said unsure. "Logan will dig this look for sure." Rose giggled. Turns out he's a real womanizer, not that I didn't notice it at school, but he slept with a lot of gals in the past and probably in the present too. "Yeah, who wouldn't but maybe you can put a jeans jacket over it, just to make you more comfortable and confident. Because confidence is the key." June said. "And with your figure you'll will be ruling the world in no time." The tight but not too tight, white dress does make my figure look amazing, and it makes my new blond-ish hair stand out even more. I feel brand new. "So let's buy this dress and go get some food, I'm craving me some pretzels." I say, taking off my dress carefully.

We walk out of nordstrom still short on a dress for Rose, she's a piece of work, maybe even more than me when it comes to dresses.  "Just one little thing." June says dragging me in to the optician. "You're going to have to lose the glasses... Just for tonight."

"No. No way. No no no. No." I say anxious. "There's no way in hell I'm wearing contacts."

"I'll buy you two boxes of donuts." June grins at me. "Make it three boxes, and you'll pay for the pretzels and you have yourself a deal." I say rolling my eyes. She knows me too well, it's getting risky.

I see the auntie anne's sign and my stomach makes a really loud and weird noise.

"Guess mama is gonna get herself two soft pretzels." I say rubbing my stomach.

"This was fun, we should hang out more." Rose smiles. We are standing in the parking lot of the mall, all exhausted from walking around looking for dresses, for 3 hours straight.

It's 5 pm, 3 hours till the party. "Definetly, but you can come get ready at my house if you'd like? And we can have a sleepover after the party, my dad's not going to be home so we should be fine." I smiled walking over to my car.

"I'd absolutely love to." She said happy. I have a good feeling about this girl.

It's 5.20 pm, when we arrive back at my house. We all decided that it's best if we just chill for a moment and then get ready. So now we're sitting in our sweatpants eating greasy popcorn while watching friends. Because a certain someone has never seen a episode of friends which almost caused me to have a heart attack.

"I would rather just stay here all night watching friends and eating junkfood." Rose groans.

"Yeah but this is going to be good for our social status, we're basically invisable to the school." June says.

"And what's wrong with that? I don't mind being invisable." Rose says, pausing the movie.

"I didn't say that there's anything wrong with it." June says trying to defence herself.

"But the way you said it and how you don't want to be invisable anymore." Rose said.

I'm trying my best not to butt in, I just hope June or Rose doesn't say anything hurtful or this whole friendschip is going down the rabbit hole.

"So? I never said that it's wrong, I just don't like feeling invinsable." June says her mood changing completely. June doesn't have the best parents in the world, they're always working and they're almost never home.

"Who does, right? But you're not invisable, we see you. I know you. What the school thinks or not thinks of you, us, doesn't matter." I say smiling at June. "Hey, let's just forget about all this, get ready and make the best of this experience. Now, are you guys with me?" I say getting out of my bed brushing the popcorn of me. "I'll go shower first, so you gals, have the time to figure out what you want, and get your shit straight." I say blowing them a kiss before I walk around the corner of the bathroom.

What's a good scent for a high school party? I wouldn't know since I've never been to one, but I've read about them, and saw them in movies. Probably no one would even notice but I want to smell good for me. My lush products are all lined up next to each other on the side of the bathtub. Maybe I should use a scrub, or a shower jelly or just soap? I'm making this to hard for myself. First I'll use my Rub Rub Rub scrub, and after that I'll use my prince charming. It's the perfect combonation. I quickly wash my hair and body since I've spend 5 minutes deciding on what products I should use.

"God, what took you so long?" June says trowing a pillow at my face as I walk out of the door. But with my skills I manage to catch it and trow it back at her with force.

I hear her mumble asshole under her breath and jump on top of her and start hitting her with the pillow when she yells "Have mercy!" which I respond to with "Never!"
Out of nowhere I feel a pillow hit the side of my face, making me fall of the bed on to the ground. "Son of a fish." I scream. I had forgotten that we weren't alone for a second.

"Guess you''ll have to get used to the fact that you're not going to win every damn time anymore." June says laughing with victory.

"Just get in the damn shower already."
