Kellin's POV

I woke up to Vic kicking me in the head.

"Unnngggghhh," I groaned, pushing his leg off me. Rubbing the sleep away from my eyes, I hazily looked at Vic. He was half on, half off the couch, arms splayed and drooling, hair covering his face. I suppressed a laugh and moved to put him on the couch properly. Vic groaned in this half-sleep, most likely because I was moving him from his oh-so-comfortable position.

Jaime was the only other one awake, sitting at the table, looking over some music and eating cereal. It had been...five days? since our drunken mistake but I still felt uncomfortable around him if Vic wasn't with me. Technically, he was, but I don't think unconscious Vic counts.

"Morning," Jaime yawned. He jerked his thumb towards the counter behind him. "I made coffee, and there may or may not be cereal left, I didn't check."

I didn't want to be bothered with coffee, so I grabbed a Monster out of the fridge. Slumping down in a chair across from Jaime, I cracked open the can and took a long, steady drink.

Jaime chuckled. "Caffeine so early?"

"Fuck yeah," I said, pulling one of the pieces of paper he was studying towards me, "whatcha working on?"

"Nothing really. Just some ideas for new music I was kicking around." Jaime shrugged and went back to looking over the papers, but soon have up and jammed them into a drawer. He settled for drinking coffee as the main activity of the morning. We had a couple days off between locations this time.

Jaime looked up from his coffee, and I tried to avert my eyes to my monster...

"Kellin?" Jaime asked quietly, as if he was trying to keep from waking Vic.

"Yeah?" I mumbled through a sip of my drink.

"About what happened...," he began, but I held my hands up, palms out.

"Jaime. It's over, it's done," I said simply.

"Kells," Jaime sighed, running a hand through his hair. "You want the truth?"

"No shit," I said a bit too loudly. Vic twitched on the couch, but didn't wake.

"Alright, then," Jaime said, leaning back in his chair. "I like Vic. Not a whole lot - so don't worry. I love him like a friend, a brother, that hasn't changed. But when I kissed him, I thought he might like it. Want me more instead."

My chest tightened as he spoke. I balked my fist in an attempt to keep from getting mad.

"But he did tell me no. He didn't want to. He loved you more than he could love anyone else," Jaime took a break to take a swig from his coffee, "but I did it anyways. In my defense, I was slightly drunk. After you sent me out, I drank some more. And later...with you...well I knew when Vic heard the banging on the door he'd think it was Tony or Mike. When he saw us, I thought he'd get so mad he'd leave you right then, and eventually pick me...anyone but you. I thought it was such a great plan," Jaime chuckled at his own stupidity. When he saw the look on my face, his face fell and became serious again. "Again, I was drunk. Very. And I'm really sorry about what I did, or what problems I caused."

I sighed, letting the stiffness in my chest melt away. Vic told the truth to me. Not that it mattered, what I did was worse. But he told the truth. And that made it okay on my end. Jaime was genuinely sorry. I took another deep breath. I looked back up at him, his eyes pleading.

"I forgive you. I have no idea if Vic has, but I do," I said, smiling slightly, the corner of my lip turning up.

Jaime smiled brightly. "Thanks, Kells. Don't worry, I won't try to steal your boyfriend ever again."
