The voice is kind of annoying

The voice is kind of annoying, but not as annoying as Cameron's dramatic descriptions.

Darkness...

"Cameron." A deep voice bellowed from the nothingness. "Open your eyes, boy." But I didn't hear it... It was like I experienced it with all my senses.

"You do realize that you have a sense of hearing, right?" It called again, appearing to read my thoughts...

"Stop being an idiot, and open your eyes!" The voice snapped. It's rage seemed to come and go without reason...

"I swear on your grave, boy, if you don't open your eyes right now-" Obeying it's strange command, I saw before me a scene of green and brown. Vibrant and alive. Earthy and natural. There were magnificent trees and long grasses and twisting vines, strewn about in the wildest of fashions. The hum of insects and wildlife was pulsing around me, the song of birds, the burbling of rivers. This forest was alive, bursting with life and-

"Quit monologuing, I have things to explain to you. Just say that it's a forest and move on!" Alright, alright, fine. You don't have to shout at me.

"Yes I did. If you were more obedient, I wouldn't!" It snarled at me. " In any case... Cameron Wandher! I have chosen you to go on a wondrous journey."

...Dude, what?

"Whaddya mean, 'dude what'? Be more excited! Look alive! You're going on a quest."

... This kind of stuff only happens in dreams, dude.

The strange, omniscient voice remained silent for a moment, seeming to ponder at my words.

"Who's to say you aren't dreaming? I mean, how did you end up here, in the middle of a forest? How do I know your name? You shouldn't try to rationalize dreams, Cameron. You're better off having fun with this."

Aye, the voice was wise, to say the least. And convincing, to say more.

"What did we say about monologuing, boy?"

... To quit it.

"Thank you."

So, uh, what am I supposed to do? For the quest thingy.

"Ah, right. My brother, Steve. That idiot. He's a summoner. But he can't really control his powers yet. Now there're tons of weird animals and demons in his home. Soon, he won't be able to control them. I need you to go and force him to wear this." It said, snapping. To my left, there was a pop of light and smoke, and a thud from a heavy object landing in the dirt.

A rusty, silverish... Bracelet? Choker? Almost? it looked like a sheet of metal was bent into a cylinder, then left to rot in the rain for a few days. It seemed too large to be a bracelet, but too small to be a choker.

How is this supposed to help your brother?

"Don't be so quick to judge. If I'd done that with you, you wouldn't be here, Chubby."

Okay there I literally did not fall asleep for this. I literally go to sleep for the opposite of this.

Also, at least I don't creepily invade the minds of fifteen year old boys.

"The bracelet's magical. I made it. It helps to lock up his powers until he needs them." The inconsiderate voice ignored me.

That must be why it looks like a piece of junk, then.

"No need to get bitter, I was kidding."

Really.

"Really." The voice tried to convince me, but I was having none of it. Everything has to be about my weight. "I seriously need your help, Cameron."
