 Hey my fellow readers!

This chapter is super short, but the following will be longer, promise :)

Personally, I think that this chapter is crappy, but tell me what you think about it...

Iris's POV

Last week was a blur... first semester was finishing and we all had to study a little bit more than usual cause we had tests and teachers made us practice magic in classes and they graded us for it...

First semester ends in a week and then we will have a month to spend with our families and I felt so excited that I was finally able to go and visit my parents... It was Saturday evening and I was reading some book I got from library and was learning some new spells, though I didn't need much practice or reading it couple of times to remember it, my brain seemed to catch up on it all once I read it...

I had a music playing on my laptop cause my sensitive hearing would pick up noises I didn't want to hear and as I was laying down on bed I heard the front door open and someone entered the hallway of my bedroom, someone whose footsteps I didn't recognize. My body tensed up and I stood slowly not making a sound, I neared the door and listened to the intruder going over the room towards my bedroom, it seemed to me that he was trying to sneak in so I hid in the wardrobe really quickly.

Dark head peeked inside of my room searching it with his amber eyes and then he stepped inside as I jumped out of the wardrobe and stood in front of him with disapproving look on my face, he jumped back and growled lowly holding up a fire sphere... I don't know what was up with Dark-Ones and spheres, he could easily beat me if he wanted to do it really badly.

"Jonny! Don't sneak up on me like that!" I hissed and closed the door behind him.

"For blood's sake Iris! You scared the hell out of me! I didn't even know you were in here!" he said holding onto his chest trying to calm his nerves.

"Well, next time, don't sneak around my room..." I said and took the book I was reading and put it onto the desk in the corner of the room. "What are you doing here anyway?"

He rubbed the back of his neck and looked to the ground... "I came to ask you something..." he said slowly sitting on the chair at the desk.

I raised my eyebrow. What could Jonny possibly ask me? It's not like I could do him some favor or something, and it seemed to me that he was sneaking cause he didn't want anyone else to know that he was here.

"What do you want to ask me Jonny?"

He looked at me and narrowed his eyes on me. "I need you to swear to me that you won't tell anyone about this. Okay?"

"I can't... Alex will find out eventually, I swear he can practically smell when I'm hiding something from him..." I said furrowing my eyebrows in confusion, if he didn't want anyone else to know about this, then it had to be something important to him, or something he wasn't supposed to do, or shouldn't do... How am I supposed to know?!

He bit his lip and looked at me pleading with his eyes. "Iris... I can't talk to anyone else about this, cause they won't support me with it..." he said and ran his hand through his hair in nervous way.

"Why do you think that they won't support you?" I asked and set on bed thinking about what he was saying.

"Because we are not supposed to do that, and it is against our laws, and the ones that break our law don't end up very well..."

He is breaking their law... Well, to be honest, most of their laws are stupid, but, law is law, and if he is breaking it, I am sure guys won't be okay with that, but hey! Who am I to say anything about that... I'm just... me...
