Alex's POV
I just entered Iris's bedroom. Her roommate was still gone. It was weird that Iris wasn't here yet. Dinner was over. What was taking her so long, than I heard it. How could I not hear it?!
"What am I missing? You're leaving me for some douche!" I heard Iris's heart beat scared. "You don't even know him!"
"Let go of me! You're hurting me!"
I dashed out, and came just as he bent down to kiss her. Anger shot through me. How dare he put his filthy hands on her?!
I pushed him of her and pinned him on the wall ready to rip his head off. He was an Agent, but I didn't care, he has to pay for this! I heard Iris calm immediately and I was glad that she was okay. Then her heart started beating fast again. I didn't take my eyes of the guy, Jordan. I knew him. He was with her all the time!
"Alex." she whispered scared. "Don't hurt him, please. He saved me so many times. I don't... Let him go." she pleaded and I heard her sweet voice tremble in fear. Guy was squirming under my hold and I felt him trying to do some spell, I put a shield on and very slowly let go of him trying not to kill him.
I growled. "Don't you ever touch her again. Or I swear you're dead guy." I said so she doesn't hear it.
He looked angry at me but didn't say anything. He looked over my shoulder. He was tall for a Light-One.
"Iris..." he said, his voice shattered. I growled angrily at him and Iris whimpered. I closed my lips and looked threatening at him.
"Just go away Jordan." she said and walked away.
"If you hurt her in any way, I'm going to make sure you're behind bars. If I find anything on you! The tiniest thing that doesn't fit in your file, and you'll be gone..." he said in a low voice.
"Do not, threaten me! Ever." I said in deathly voice and felt I was losing it. I just wanted to kill him and be done with everything, but I couldn't. Iris would never forgive me. I wouldn't forgive me. It's not like I was going around killing people like Stephen did all the time.
He looked scared at me, his eyes widened and his heart started beating loud. He turned away then, and walked out. As he entered the elevator I ran to Iris's room. She was crying on her bed with her head buried in her pillow. My anger was gone and I just wanted her to be fine. How hard was this on her? I made her cry. It could be that she was happy with him. He was good for her, I was a threat for her fragile body any second I was with her.
Her scent was burning my throat every single second and her blood smelt delicious. I shook my head and laid next to her pulling her to my chest. She didn't refuse it, she just hugged me tightly and cried into my chest. I was holding her close. Didn't dare to say anything, she was probably freaked out. I did some things that she wasn't supposed to see! She is a light-one! She doesn't know a thing about our ways! She is so innocent, and sweet, and beautiful. She is the most beautiful girl I ever saw. And I've seen a lot of girls.
Her tears soon vanished and she didn't move. It was driving me crazy. She didn't let go of me, and I didn't let her go. I remembered last night. She said not to leave her. She was probably scared. My little girl was lost. She was dragged into this world out of the blue. She was confused. And overwhelmed. And it was hard for her. And now she had to break up with this guy that was with her for ages because of me.
"Are you okay?" I asked finally, not being able to remain silent anymore.
She pulled away and I let her. She set next to me and sniffed not looking at me. She was staring at her hands and she frowned, and while she did that she had this 'v' between her eyebrows. It was cute, but I didn't like to see her sad. I didn't know what to do.
