Splash (Chapter 3)

       We let the night take us away. I found myself starting to like him, the more I got to know him, the more, and more I started liking him. I already know that he wouldn't like me, Who would like me? I'm a broken, weird girl that no one would ever want to date.

    Somehow we winded up at the dock. We sat on the dock, and put our feet in the water, I'm not gonna lie; I'm freezing. I could feel myself getting goose bumps, but ignored them, and stared into the water. All I could think of was my dad, and how much he loved the water, and how much I would do anything to be with him once again, but I know that won't happen. No matter how much I want it to.

    I'm suddenly snapped out of my thoughts when I feel cold water hit my arms. I look up to see Niall with a goofy grin on his face, He opens up his mouth like he's about to say something, but I cut him by splashing him back, and say "Oh it's on like donkey-kong, I'll bring you down to china town!" Just like my dad said.

    "Now that was fun" Niall says after we finish our water war, I underestimated freezing earlier, I feel numb now.

    "Yeah" I give him a smile, It's a real one to. It feels like I've never smiled before. It feels nice to smile again.

   "Are you cold?" Great. He noticed.

"Uh yeah, but it's fine."

"Nope, here take my jacket." he says taking his jacket off of him, and puts it around my shoulders.

"Aren't you cold though?"

"Not really. I'd rather be cold than you be cold," Does he like me? no. he can't. I'm just a broken weird girl he just met. I'm so stupid to even think that. "You have a really pretty smile."

"Thank you," I blushed, and looked down at the water. After a few seconds I felt a soft hand caress my cheek. He slowly brought my face up so I was looking at him.
"You're cute when you blush" I blushed even more. Niall started to chuckle. His laugh is so hot omg.
"Thanks" wait. Did I just say that out loud?
"Yes you did" shit.
