Long ago, when monsters roamed the earth, there was a village by the name Lisgale in the country of Calamerica. This village like any other village was often under attacks by raiders, shrieks (like ghosts but they are able to hurt you) and dragons. The dragons were by far the worst out of them all. raiders just killed or plundered, shrieks would kill you in your sleep if you had no light, but dragons they just burned down everything and killed everything, then it would take what little gold you had(even though you were most likely dead) and take it back to its lair. As you can guess this is where the hero of this story fits in.
"Jaliel hurry take your father's sword and bow. You must go now, I have had a dream of terror coming to this country, and only you can save us all. I am sorry I cannot go with you, I must warn the whole village. you must get out before the mass of people trample out of there."
"How will we find each other after you get out" I worried
"I highly doubt that I will get out alive, or even that my warnings will save anyone, but I must try. Remember the mark of our lineage... Now I must go, the longer I wait the less chance I have of getting away from here. do not look back on this village again or you may lose your chance to get away as well, Farewell my son."
It was a smog filled night, you couldn't even see the light of the full moon, both of which at that time were harbingers of doom. Also to add to the odd night was that no sound at all was going on at all. No crickets, no scurrying of animals, no nothing.
(Man I am only 16 how can she expect me to be the savior of our people, and what is the mark of our lineage, I have never heard of this before... ugh I... I think this is far enough, I must sleep for the one hour that I have left of the night.)
