"Bye." Everyone took pictures of me as I climbed onto the plane with my bag. I hugged my team as they kissed my cheeks. Sharing their be safes and see you soon. I finally got to my coach.
"Be careful Redwood. I still need my captain back before the season actually begins." I nodded and we hugged quickly before I got onto the plane. I went to my seat in front and laid down. This is going to be a long flight."Mrs. Emily Rockwood. Nice to see you." A man in a dark blue military uniform greeted me before taking my bag and leading me to a jeep. I got in and neither of us said a word to the field.
Tents were everywhere. Guys in camo and tank tops were everywhere. Some playing football, eating, writing, soccer! I looked and the man laughed.
"You are one of four girls here. They are also nurses, but there are some military women here. you just have to find them. You are allowed all the freedoms of the military soldiers unless if there are wounded to attend to. Here is your tent. You share it with the four girls."
"Thanks." I was glad all I packed was tank tops. I went in and set my stuff down. Three girls glared at me, but didn't bother to be friendly. One walked in behind me.
"Hey! You must be Emily! I'm Peci, you can call me P. You can go do whatever, your sift starts at five tomorrow. I nodded and headed outside. I jogged to the guys playing soccer.
"We got a new girl on the grounds!" I crossed my arms.
"Who's loosing?" Five men raised their hands. I headed toward the boy closest to me. "I'm in." They all stared at me.
"You can't play!" Another yelled.
"Dude, the girl think she has game." Another whispered. I looked at the boy with the ball on my team.
"Let's go!" They center passed it to me and i dribbled it before sprinting across and passing it back. They stared at me as he kicked it back and I bounced it up and up, I kneed it and side kicked it into the makeshift goal. Everyone's eyes were on me. I smirked. "Name is Emily Rockwood." People exchanged looks.
"The Emily Rockwood?" I smirked.
"You guys ever need an extra player, I'm around." I headed off and back to my tent, but someone ran straight into me.
"Sorry!" I grumbled as I stood up.
"Attention soldier!" He hopped up until he got a good look at me.
"You a knew soldier or nurse?"
"Volunteer." He smiled and looked me up and down.
"Guess I'll have to see you around then." I smirked.
"Or not." I walked back to my tent and turned to find him smirking at me. I rolled my eyes and headed into the tent.
"Don't get your hopes up on him. He scares every girl here." I laughed at the girls remark.
"He won't get me." They all smiled lightly to themselves.
