Dark Turned To Light

The gloomy air falls on my skin,

pushing my hair back.

My hair probably feels free,

as I feel like I'm in a cage.

Unable to escape the voices in my head.

The tears fall freely out of my eyes,

slipping on my plump cheeks.

The voices in my head become louder as the seconds stretch into minutes.

My brain bangs against my skull,

my heart beat becomes faster than normal.

I begin to feel drops of water fall on my skin.

I look up to see more falling.

The sky is a mixture of grey and purple, and the dark clouds come together.

Water begins to fall hard,

as lightening bolts.

My once dry body is now drenched in water.

My dark raven hair falls on my face,

sticking to my skin.

The voices in my head slowly fade away.

I find myself smiling,

at the sudden feeling in my veins.
