Paige's Perspective

When we got home, my best friend Charlie came over to check up, and comfort us every week. Me and Leo have been through a lot lately, so we both skipped school for a week, just to recover. Our school is across town, so I had to drive him and myself every morning and afternoon considering, I got my drivers licence.

Two weeks later.......

"We're going to have to find a tutor," Mr. Perry said with a sigh. Ever since we got back to school, Leo's been off. He's falling behind in class, and he's having a lot of trouble concentrating.
"Thanks Mr. Perry, I'll try to help him out at home." I stood up grabbing my little brother's hand, and we walked out to my red Nissan Pathfinder. Leo was finally old enough to sit in the front seat, and we started to have a long conversation.
"I'm not trying to fall behind, I promise! Please don't get mad at me!" Leo sounded disappointed.
"I'm not mad, Leo. It's a lot to handle. I get it, I was there too. Luckily enough, you have one more semester to catch up. You're not a bad kid, you're just frustrated; and so am I." He looked up at me with his sweet blue eyes, and gave me a great big hug.
One week later......
It's been a week, and some little kid from his class told Leo to back the hell off. Then I asked his teacher, and I knew something was wrong. Roderick James Campbell.
