The words made my heart beat pick up and I couldn’t help but smile. Allison had just told me that she loved me for the first time in a very long time. Honestly, it was a little hard for me to even take it what she was saying. Part of me didn’t even believe that it was actually happening. I turned around slowly and took a breath, “What did you just say?” I asked her in a whisper.
I could hear Allison standing up slowly and walking behind me. She stopped only a few inches away from me. “Scott...” She put her hand on my arm and my eyes shut instantly. My heart started to race even more when her hand connected to my arm. “I said…” She was speaking softly as her hand turned me around and she placed it on my chest. “I love you.” She hadn’t taken her eyes off on mine that whole time until she said she loved me. I could not believe what was happening. How was this happening?! Just a few minutes ago Allison was kissing one of my best friends and now she was saying she loved me? What was going on, was it some kind of prank? It had to be, maybe Isaac was behind this.
“Stop.” I said quietly to her.
“Stop what?” She asked me looking up.
“I don’t want to play this game or whatever this is.” I walked past her and sat down where she was when I took her there. “You don’t have to test me or whatever; I’ll leave you and Isaac alone. Just stop.” I frowned at her and then leaned my head against the wall closing my eyes.
Allison took a breath and I could hear her walking towards me, “Scott I’m not messing with you. Why would you think that?”
“Because there is no way that you still love me Allison! After everything that has happened and you just kissed Isaac, I just- I can’t believe that you still love me… I- I can’t.” My eyes were still closed and I sighed trying not to cry in front of Allison.
“If I didn’t love you would I be doing this?” Allison whispered into my ear before gently grazing her lips across mine and then across my neck. She moved her lips back up my mine and her hands were on my cheeks. I pushed my lips against hers and my hands moved to her waist as she sat in my lap. Our lips moved slowly and it was like nothing before. I had missed kissing her so much and this was so much more than the kiss before, this was real, Allison was kissing me back and it was much more than a kiss. She grinned onto my lips and her hands ran down my chest slowly.
I smiled back and then leaned down until Allison was on top of me. Her hands slowly ran under my shirt and up my bare chest. Chills ran through my body and I was in complete awe of the entire situation. Everything was perfect until Allison gripped onto my arm and groaned. I opened my eyes and looked at her, “Allison are you okay?!” I yelled. She got up and shook her head groaning even more.
“Allison…?” I asked her.
“Scott.” She groaned once again.
I walked up to her and put my hand on her arm. “Allison…”
Her eyes shot open and I saw the glowing gold color before I heard her growl, “Scott!”
My eyes shot open and I gasped for breath looking around. It was dark and there were cars all around me. Allison and Isaac were both standing above me and shook my head. “Dammit.” I whispered.
