"I'm a little late, but I'm finally in DA'" a cheerful child yelled from the boat. He wore the standard Slifer uniform with a bright orange red cap. "right buddy?" he turned to his spirit partner. As he got down from the boat, he was greeted by a teacher with long grey hair, shut eyes and carrying a fat cat.

"Are you Kaisa-san? Nya" he asked as the child nodded in reply. "Great nya. I'm your new head of dorm Daitokuji-sensei. You and Saotome Rei are our new students Nya." The teacher then moved and gestured to the smaller figure behind him Saotome Rei was a short kid, also wearing the red uniform and a big blue cap. "Follow me nya." Both new students grabbed their stuff and followed the teacher.

"Nice to meet you Saotome chan. I'm Kudo Kaisa. Just call me Kai." The taller transfer said to the shorter student.

"Just call me Rei, Kai san." He tried saying in a manly voice or attempted manly voice.

"I can tell that you are a girl Rei chan. But I won't tell, I assure you." He smiled back and helped her with her oversized suitcases. "Let's go!" He said cheerfully, carrying his sling bag of clothes in one hand, while Rei's in the other and running forward till he passed the teacher.

"Kudo san! The dorm is this way nya." He called out, making the hyperactive teen retreat back to the group.

"My bad. Too excited." He laughed sheepishly and the group continued their way to a rundown tool shed.

'This place is old.' The new students thought as they looked at it. "Rei san will be able to rank up to Ra in a few days and so can you Kaisa san." Daitokuji sensei explained as he led them to a tiny dining hall with some students in there. "Minna san, these two are Saotome Rei and Kudo Kaisa. They have transfer in the middle of the year and are placed in Slifer until they can rank up." Daitokuji sensei explained and introduced them.

<Kai's PoV>

Then a freshman Yuki Judai bounced up to us and introduced himself along with welcoming us to the school. "Welcome to Slifer!" he cheered.

I spotted Rei hiding behind me, so I took a step forward and held my hand out for a shake. "Nice to meet you, Yuki Judai. I'm Kudo Kaisa, but everyone calls me Kai. Please take care of us."I smiled back at the brunette and he shook back.

"Nice to meet ya, Kai." He grinned back. As it goes by, I was placed in the same room as Rei. She got really cautious as I started unpacking and was about to change until she started making her way out of the door.

"Rei, you don't need to leave. We are both girls you know." I said and she turned back in shock.

" Kai, You are a girl!!" she yapped.

"Er, yeah. Last I checked my medical report." I joked back and the both of us started laughing. "I call the top bunk." I cried and climbed up to the top bed.
