Year- 1675
Location- North America
Season- Winter

It was a dark, cold night. The snow on the ground and coating the trees was undisturbed, reflecting the full moon light to make the forest seem like it was glowing a heavenly light. The peaceful scene was ended when the sound of yelling could be heard, the sight of torches and pitch forks being thrown, and a young girl with blood red eyes running through the thick snow, just barely out the reach of their thrown pitch forks. Her feet had gone numb from the cold, but she didn't stop she didn't want to die at the hands of puritans. She made her way up the mountain until finally she was cornered. She glanced around for somewhere she could run, but all she seen was a large rock wall and a hole in the ground that seemed to go on forever. She looked up at her attackers.
"Witch!" One screamed as they swung their torch at her. She backed up to the hole, she looked at it and back at the mob, she was not going them torture her, starve her, and burn her. She took a deep breath and fell backwards.

She woke up on a bed of yellow flowers. Her whole body hurt, but she knew nothing was broken. She decided to lay there until the pain ended.
" Over here, mama, this is where it landed!" She heard the voice of a young boy. Her blood radio cold, had the puritans found a way in, where they really that desperate to have her dead?

She heard a woman gasp and footsteps running towards her " Asrial, Go get your father! Tell him it is an emergency!" She felt a soft hand pet the top of her head and she flinched. " are you okay child? Did the fall break anything?" She looked up the woman, except, she wasn't a woman but some type of goat human thing. She wore a long purple dress with some type of crest, looked like three circles with a pair of wings on either side. The girl froze in fear, had she died and gone to hell? " please do not be scared, I will not harm you" the girl slowly sat up, trying her best to not look in pain.

" good, I was scared that you had broken your back." The goat woman began looking the girl over for injuries " what is your name child?" She hesitated as she replied.

"Chara..... Chara Jones." The woman smiled.

" I am Torial Dreemurr, I'm the queen of the underground." Chara heard more foot steps and looked up to see two more goat creatures. One, A small boy with a green sweater and brown pants. The second, a large male Wearing a kings outfit and holding a trident.

" a human!" The king stared in disbelief

" a human child, Asgore." Torial corrected him. The king got down on one knee in front of her.

" Why are you here child?" Chara looked up at him and spoke sheepishly.

" the reverend's daughter died of sickness, but the town believes that I am a witch and that I casted a spell to kill her. They chased me here.." The king, Asgore's, face turned from stern, to sad. The goat boy, Asrial, pipped up

" why would they call her a witch?"

" Her eyes, they are red" Asgore reached out and gently hugged Chara " humans frown upon anyone who is different, but you don't have to worry about that here. We will take care of you."
