Frisk watched as her friend finished packing her things. She had been roommates with the since Frisk's parents died when she was six. Frisk was a sixteen year old girl with medium, light brown hair and sky blue eyes. She had a golden complexion and often times wore shorts and a blue sweater that she knitted herself. Her parents had been together for seven years before they died. Her mother was from the Philippines and went to college in the U.S, where she met her father.

"I'm sorry, Frisk, I promise you can come visit me" her friend said with a half smile. Frisk only smiled back.

" it's okay, Ashlyn, I'm glad you're finally getting out of here" her friend set her bag down by the door and hugged her.

" bye Frisky" she replied with a whispery goodbye and her friend was out the door. Moments later she watched out the window as Ashlyn hopped into the back seat of large, nice looking escalade and drive away. Frisk sighed and opened her laptop, it was still on the web page that she was on from the night before.

" Mt.Ebott. A legend that connects the entire world.

An article by Tobias Foxx

All over the world there are the legends of monsters. These monsters are often seen in ancient artworks and in religion. Most of the time, for example, you can see a picture of a monster painted somewhere in Ireland, then go to China and see an art piece featuring the same monster there. The most common are goat people, Skeletons, and reptilian creatures. Upon my many years of researching the legends of monsters, I have come to realize something. In most artwork there is always a mountain seen in the back ground, and it is the same mountain every time. I asked around on social media if anyone recognized the mountain, the response was Mt.Ebott.

Now for those of you who don't know, Mt.Ebott has a legend of its own. That if anyone climbed it and ventured to far off the path, they would never be found again. I have a theory that humans-" Frisk didn't finish the article. She had the information that she needed, she ignored all the monster mombo jumbo. She just needed somewhere that she could never be found, some where she could end herself without anyone knowing. She was so sick of what the human race was becoming, she didn't want to see the dark cruel world anymore.

She got up and grabbed a thick rope from under her bed. She took one final look at her reflection in the window then walked out

She had already been walking for nearly an hour before she ended up in front of the entrance to her cities local legend. Frisk took a deep breath and walked up the path, when she noticed the forest getting denser she veered off the trail and began examining the tree's around her. Then, she stepped onto a cleared grassy area. It had large pillars around and a large stone wall with some kind of writing on it, the there in the center of all of it there was a large hole. She walked over to it an examined it, it seemed to go on forever. Frisk squinted she thought that she could see something and she started leaning forward. But she felt herself lose balance and she fell into the dark abyss.
