Ch Eleven

"They're here." Edward whispered to his family and friends, once he heard the thoughts of the Volturi

"Thanks for the info Carol Anne." Said Emmett

"Be serious, Emmett." Rosalie said nudging him

"The red coats are coming. The red coats are coming." Muttered Garrett

"Look at what you started." Rosalie told him

Soon Volturi appeared walking out of the woods across to the Olympic coven, stopping not to far from them. As they did Aro scan across the vampires against them.

"Aro is looking for Alice and Skye." Edward muttered to his wife

A sound of wolf howls came though the clearing, as the La Push pack came out behind the Cullen's. Jacob walking up to Bella, Edward and his imprint glaring at the Volturi; while Darren walked up next to Emmett and Rosalie. When it seemed that everybody was in place, Carlisle began to move away from his wife to go in front of his clan and try to make his long time 'friend' understand what was going on.

"Aro, let discuss things as we used to. Civilized" Carlisle said calmly

"Fair words Carlisle, but little out of place. Giving the battalion you have assembled against us." Said Aro

"I can promise you it was never my intent. No laws have been broken." Carlisle expained

"We see the child." Caius stated "Do not treat us as fools."

"She is not an immortal!" Carlisle announced, "These witnesses can test to that."

Aro wanting to know all the information, he called Edward over to see from him and wanted to meet the child. Bella and Renesmee began to walk towards her husband and the Volturi, with Jacob not even an inch behind. Stopping short Bella looked back at one of her other family members that she felt safe with. Emmett. He understood and left Rose's side and up to Bella. Emmett knew if he couldn't keep his own children safe that he would save his niece. Aro made a comment about Bella's immortality and looked at the child before letting out a moronic laugh, about hearing her strange heart. It was quite disturbing.

"Hello Aro." Renesmee said putting a hand on his face

"Half mortal. Half immortal." He said as the Cullen's began to walk quickly back to their family when Aro spoke out again, "Dear Emmett."

Emmett stopped suddenly at his name being called, "Yes Aro?"

"What have become of your...I mean our guard dog." Said Aro

"I don't know what you mean." Emmett said sharply

"Of course he does, he is lying to us brother." Said Caius

"It seems that, Skye. That was her name, wasn't it? Disappeared." Aro Stated, "Do you know where she is?"

"No, I had no knowledge of her missing. If I know Skye like I do, this would be the first place she avoid. To keep her family and I save." Emmett told Aro

"He lies." Muttered Cauis

"Oh Aro, I think it's better to check your guard before accusing me. I mean no one has ever escape The Volturi Castle." Emmett said smugly before he continued to walk

Felix, Demetri and the rest of the guards hissed ready to attack; when Aro raise his hand to stop them. Then moved the conversation back to the half immortal child and spoke the unknown dangers she might threaten to their world. He continued to speak when two people walked acrossed the snow towards them.
