Chapter 34

~Noah~

After lunch I told my mother that I was going out for awhile, I couldn’t stand staying at home with the death stares my dad was sending my way and the apologetic looks my mother would always shoot me.

My dad had every right to be mad at me and my mother had no reason to apologize. Every time I think about Riley and that child she’s carrying I start to believe that the baby is actually mine.

I don’t want that though, this isn’t fair. My life was supposed to be perfect; it wasn’t supposed to end up like this.

Now the mere thought of screwing around revolted me. I just couldn’t see myself doing that anymore but I need to get over that, if I’m ever going to be myself I need to get back to normal and ignore this whole Riley situation.

Just because Riley is having a baby, maybe even my baby it shouldn’t change me. I’m a player and I’m not going to change because of this.

“I’ll have another beer.” I mumbled to the bartender for the fourth time. Getting wasted wasn’t in mind when I thought about taking a walk but after ten minutes passed by a drink didn’t sound too bad and it was a great way to pick up girls.

If I’m going to get back to normal I might as well screw someone, it revolts me now just because of Riley’s confession but once I get back to it I’ll go back to normal.

The bartender set down the beer in front of me while I started chugging it down, something I loved about this bar was that they never asked for your age. The police should really pay more attention to places around here.

Just as I finished my fourth beer a sexy blonde in a red mini dress took the seat next to me. She looked like she was in her early twenties, hmm good lay age range. It’s not like I haven’t been with an older woman before, it’s not that hard.

I turned to her and turned on the charm “Hi I’m Noah.”

She looked at me and smiled “Hi I’m Jessie.”

“So what brings you to the bar this fine evening?” I asked giving her my full attention, girls love that shit.

Jessie shrugged “Bad break up, want to get totally wasted, what are you doing here? You look like you’re in high school.”

I shook my head, you know what they say lying is the best policy, not really but that’s the motto I go by. “Actually I’m in college and I’m here because of family troubles.” Pssh as if I’d tell her I might have got a chick pregnant, I’m not a girl I don’t share my secrets to the first stranger that decides to pay attention to me.

She nodded her head “Interesting.”

“So.” I smirked, just go in for the kill Noah, “Since your having break up troubles and I’m having family troubles what do you say we take out our frustrations elsewhere?”
