Sesshomaru's Little Angel

Chapter 1

(Sesshomaru's P.O.V.)

I'm walking through the woods on a nice sunny day. It's not too hot though, it's just right for my taste. I hear a rustling in the bushes next to me so I take out my sword and walk slowly towards the bushes. I peek behind them and I see what looks like a soft pink blanket. WAAAAHHHH I jumped at the unnatural wailing noise, I peeked behind the bushes more and there was a baby laying there. It noticed me and it looked at me and giggled and reached its hands towards me. It wants me to pick it up I thought to myself, confused. I put my sword back in its holster and reached down and picked the baby up. I held it in my arms and it giggled more and grabbed my nose, I put my hand against the baby's while it was still on my nose. I chuckled "What's your name little one" I asked myself out loud, it just giggled more and stared at me. I looked at the pink blanket "I wonder if you're a boy or a girl" I asked myself again. "Inuyasha and Kagome should know" I tell myself "Come on, let's go see Inuyasha and Kagome" I said to the baby even though I knew it wouldn't understand. I then started walking towards Inuyasha and Kagome's house.

*At Inuyasha and Kagome's House*

I walk up the steps to Inuyasha and Kagome's house and knock on the door "Inuyasha would you please get that" I heard Kagome yell. I heard the door unlock and it opened and I see Inuyasha look at me then down at the child. "SESSHOMARU, SINCE WHEN DID YOU HAVE A KID" he yelled. I just laughed and said "Can we please come in" Inuyasha nodded and I walked in with the child and set her down on their carpet in the living room. It got on its hands and knees and started crawling around the carpet. Kagome walked in and looked the child and said "So Sesshomaru, who is that" I shrugged and said "I don't know, I found it all alone in the woods" she gasped. "What kind of person would leave a baby in the middle of the woods like that" I shrugged again and asked "So, what is it exactly, like what gender" she smiled and said "By the look of its blanket and the look of its diaper it looks like a girl" I looked at the baby and said "Wow, a girl, does that mean I'll have to name her" Kagome nodded and I began to think. Kagome looked at me "Wait, your planning on keeping her" she asked with a concerned voice. I glared down at the little girl playing with a rattle then back at Kagome. "Well, what else am I supposed to do with her, I can't take her to Lady Kaede" Kagome looked at me puzzled "And why not" I sat on the floor next to the child and sighed "Because, then Kaede will think this child is from your Japan and take her there and give her to someone who might hurt her" Kagome sat in front of me and sighed as well. "Well, if you think you can do it, just a piece of advice though, don't let Lady Kaede see her, she'll probably think you stole her from my Japan" I smiled and nodded. "I just need to give her a name" I looked at Kagome and she smiled and said "It's all your choice Sesshomaru, after all she is yours now" I smiled and picked her up. She yawned and cuddled up against my chest and was fast asleep "I think I'll call her, Naomi" Kagome smiled and looked at the sleeping child in my arms "I think that's a great name for her Sesshomaru" I looked at the sleeping child as well and kissed her forehead. A small smile formed at her lips and I chuckled Wow, I'm a dad now, and she's so adorable, I'm going to protect her with my life I thought to myself as I walked to their couch and laid down to where Naomi was still on my chest and I was engulfed in sleep.
