Sesshomaru's Little Angel

Chapter 2

It's been about 2 years since I found Naomi in the woods. She is now crawling but hasn't said any actual words. I got a small cottage in the middle of the forest so Lady Kaede wouldn't find her. I'm playing with her out in the backyard by a swing set I made for her from some of the trees. She crawls over to me and reaches one of her hands up and opens and closes her hands indicating that she wants to be picked up. I pick her up and lay her in my arms and start to hum a lullaby I had made up for her. She yawned and snuggled more into my arms fell asleep, I stopped humming and walked inside and laid her in her crib and kissed her forehead. A smiled formed on her lips and I chuckled, I went to the kitchen and started cooking some ramen for me and for her when she woke up. I realized we were running low on food and drinks and sighed "I can't just keep going to Inuyasha's and free loading off them, I need to start to get my own things" I said to myself. Just then there was a loud knocking at the door, I sighed and walked to the door. I opened it and lo behold there was Lady Kaede with 2 guards "Sesshomaru, we have heard that you have a human child" my heart sank "W-What, t-that's I-insane" I tried not to stutter she glared at me "Sesshomaru, we let you stay with our village because you have earned our trust, but if you have gone to the current world of Japan and stolen a child we'd have no choice but to lock you up" my heart completely stopped that time "We must search your home" She said directly after. I shook my head "No, you don't have to" she raised an eyebrow "Yes, we do, Hyuga, grab him so he won't interrupt, but let him watch" The guard to her left walked up and grabbed my arms and tied them up "No, untie me at once" I yelled Lady Kaede went straight for the crib and looked inside. "Sesshomaru, if you have an empty crib where is the child" I tilted my head in confusion. I stood up and walked to the crib and peered inside, Naomi was gone. I began to freak out "NAOMI, NAOMI, WHERE ARE YOU" just then I Kaede grabbed the top of my shirt and pulled me down to her level "So, do have a child" I glared at her "Yes, I have a child, but it's not from the current Japan" just then I felt a tug at my pant leg. I looked down and saw Naomi, except she had black ears, like her black hair. I gasped and Lady Kaede picked her up, Kaede pulled at her ears and they were the type that could come off. "So, Sesshomaru, she's not from current Japan" I shook my head "I am, I'm babysitting for Kagome and Inuyasha" I blurted out without thinking. Lady Kaede's mouth dropped "You can even take us there and they can tell you" Lady Kaede nodded and we headed towards Inuyasha and Kagome's house.

*At Inuyasha and Kagome's House*

We all walk up the steps to Inuyasha's house and Lady Kaede knocked on the door. The door opened and Kagome looked at Naomi, then at me, then at Lady Kaede. "So, you and Inuyasha had a child without my knowledge aye" I swallowed hard hoping Kagome would play along. "Y-Yes madam, that's our Naomi" I sighed a sigh of relief and Kaede smiled "Well excuse my rudeness Sesshomaru, I will let you be, untie him" I felt the rope around my wrists loosen and I ran and grabbed Naomi from Kaede "Thank you Lady Kaede" Kagome said with a smile. Lady Kaede smiled and bowed, her guards did the same. She walked off in the direction of the village. Once she disappeared from sight "Damn it, Sesshomaru, I told you to keep her out of the village, and away from Kaede" Kagome said, obviously furious she had to do that, "I never took her into the village, I don't know how Kaede figured out" Inuyasha walked into the room as I said that and slowly backed out "INUYASHA" I yelled. I Stomped passed Kagome handing her Naomi and over to Inuyasha where I grabbed him by the shirt and put him up against the wall. "What, Did, You, Do" I asked, furious. He sighed "I...I told Kaede about the kid" my eyes filled with rage. "WHAT, WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU DO THAT" I yelled. Inuyasha looked away from my eyes "Because, I don't think you can raise her right" I got even angrier. I punched him and he flew across the room and into their glass coffee table. "INUYASHA" Kagome yelled as she set Naomi on the couch and ran to Inuyasha "SESSHOMARU WHAT THE HELL MAN" Inuyasha said as he sat up rubbing his head. "You don't know me, you don't know how hard it was to raise you after mom and dad left, you don't understand the sacrifices I had to make, I'M WILLING TO MAKE THOSE SAME SACRIFICES FOR NAOMI" I yelled as I went and grabbed Naomi off the couch. I pulled the door open and left, I walked into the woods, opposite of town, where my cottage was.

*At the Cottage*

When I get back to the cottage I put Naomi in her play pin and grab two bags, I stuffed some of my clothes in one and some baby food, drinks, and clothes in the other. It wasn't safe for Naomi here, not if Inuyasha was going to be telling Kaede. So, I have decided that we will be living far away from here, without telling anyone where we're going. Not even Kagome and Inuyasha, it's safest for Naomi.
