Friday finally came around and I was ecstatic. Until Kelsey reminded me about cheer tryouts. Classes went by fast until it was time for cheer. I had to skip lunch which was't putting me in a good mood. I hated to skip meals because food is too good. Besides it was pizza day. Kels told me I was getting soft around my tummy so I guess it's good that I skipped pizza day.

I already had a cheer that I was going to do. Our school mascot was the devils. Sherman Oaks Devils. Strange right? But whatever.

I was going to start my routine with a cartwheel into a backhandspring and then begin my cheer. G O let me hear you say GO while shaking my hips back and forth and then lifting my right foot to my left thigh and one hand on my left hip and the other in the air in a liberty pose. F I G H T what does that spell? FIGHT! Same moves as before only a pause for a one handed cartwheel. W I N what does that spell? WIN put it together now GO FIGHT WIN! Yeah Go Devils I shouted doing a backflip in to the splits and smiling the whole time. I got a few nods and smiles and was dismissed.

I raced to the lockers and grabbed my water bottle and gulped some. I am sooo out if shape I thought breathlessly. I have no idea how I endured an hour and a half of basketball practice every week day.

As I was thinking about starting up jogging again in the mornings Kelsey ran up to me shrieking.

"You made it!" She shouted excitedly "I knew you could do it. It's going to be sooo much fun! I can't wait!" she screamed jumping on me and hugging me.

"Wait! How do you know I made it?" I asked suspiciously.

"I hid in the corner of the gym and eavesdropped with the rest of the squad. Minus the co-captain's of course." she replied.

"Of course." I responded drily. "Well I'm going home. I need some sleep for basketball and cheer practice tomorrow. So talk to you later." I said yawning.

"Ok! See ya." She replied perkily.

I walked to my car slowly enjoying the fresh October breeze. As I neared my car I saw someone in a black goodies get up run. Strange I thought to myself.

I just happened to look at the ground as I stumbled over something metal. I looked more closely and it looked like a carjack. That's strange what would it be doing there?

I looked at my tire and looked away then looked back again as it dawned on me that there was NO tire! What? Who? Then I remember the hoodie guy. He was wearing a dark purple hoodie. Suddenly it hits me who wears a dark purple hoodie. Isaac! I bet this is revenge for the uptake incident. Guess he doesn't like milk I thought to myself smirking. Wait. I'm getting off track here. I remember seeing a tiny s.mudge on the back of the hoodie guys shirt. If Isaac wears it tomorrow I can see if it was him.

I groan in frustration. My tire is missing and I don't have a spare! Grrr I hiss and kick the tire. But of course there is no tire so I kicked metal which hurt.

Getting more frustrated I called my mom and she said she would be here in 15 minutes. It was dark by now and all of the shadows had me jumping. I thought I heard the wind calling my name but I just shrugged it off and tried to ignore it. I heaved a sigh of relief when my mom got here.

She laughed when she saw no tire and asked who I got angry. She knows me so well. I just said none and got into the car. She said she would call someone to put a new tire on while I was in class tomorrow and it should be fine by the time I get out of practices. I told my mom that I made the squad and she squealed even louder than Kelsey. I have no idea how she did it but it's true.

Anyways when I got home I ate dinner (a chicken salad) and finished my homework. When I was done I played a few games of 'Temple Run' to relax and then took a hot relaxing shower. I put on my pink heart pajamas and climbed into my comfy, purple, king-sized bed and drifted off to sleep.
