A/N: Eh. Why not?
Scar's POV - Continuation from last chapter.
I jolted awake, the clock on the bedside table read 10:37pm. I slept since my shower till now, goddamn. I rolled over, and found an empty bed. What the fuck? Where the fuck did Max go? I felt around for my phone and hit the button on the side, only notifications from various social media accounts and some texts from friends, but nothing from Max. I scrolled through my contact list until I found him, bingo. I hit his name then the little phone icon to call icon. It rang a few times before he answered.
"Hey Scar baby, I'm on my way back. I got food and something else for us." He chuckled coolly.
"What kind of food?" I asked, I'm always hungry.
"Just some burgers and fries, and chicken strips. Then I went to Jamba Juice? And I got you that fruity ass girl drink you like." He sounded so confused, I giggled.
"Thanks baby. What's the other thing you got?" I questioned, sitting up in the bed and stretching a little.
"I can't really say it right now. I got people all around me, man. But you'll like it, promise." He chuckled, and I could hear the smirk in his voice.
"Drugs?" I questioned, surprised. I thought he was clean. I'm supposed to be clean.
"Yes, ma'am. I'm in the lobby, gimme 5 minutes, beautiful." All I heard after was a click of him hanging up before I could even reply. I shook my head and sat my phone down after closing it, and decided I should get up. I grabbed the faux fur blanket that was thrown over the comforter on the bed and wrapped it around my body, and walked out to the living room. I opened the curtains, revealing the bright city lights. I padded over to the stereo and pressed play, the first ETF record began playing softly. I sat on the couch and waited for my best friend to come back.
By that time, I heard the card reader on the door ding quietly, and the door handle open. In walked a smiling Max, his hands full of various bags and my drink.
"Miss me, sweetheart?" He asked and walked over to set the food and stuff on the glass coffee table and then peck my lips. I nodded and kissed him again, then grabbed a belt loop on his black skinnies and pulled him so he was sitting next to me.
"What'd you get?" I asked, wrapping my arms around his shoulders and slipping my legs over his lap.
"I told you, burgers, fries, chicken strips and your fruity girl drink." He leaned back and smirked, knowing that's not what I wanted to know.
I gave him a look and shoved his shoulder a bit. "You know that's not what I meant Maxi. Now tell me." I pouted, leaning my cheek against the back of the couch.
He rolled his beautiful eyes, and went to dig in the pocket of his leather jacket, I heard pills shake around in a bottle. What?
He pulled out a big bag of coke, and a medium size bottle of white pills.
"Coke and oxy." He smirked and threw them on my lap, I wrinkled my nose a little and rolled the bottle in my hands.
"You're supposed to be clean Max..." I sighed, picking up the baggie of coke.
"So are you. But what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas baby." He winked at me and handed me my smoothie, I handed the drugs back to him.
"Banana berry?" I questioned and grabbed the straw from the table.
"Yes. I remember Craig always bitchin that he had to get you that fruit shit." He laughed, looking at it like it was the devil himself, making me giggle. I blew the straw wrapper at him, hitting him in the nose making him shoot me a look. "Is that anyway to treat me after I got you stuff?" He feigned being pissed.
