The Adoption.

Chapter 10

Jasper's PoV

I can't believe I just told Storm we were vampires. And I can't believe she excepted it. And I can't believe she kissed me. And I kissed her back. I mean I knew she was hot, and I thought I would never have a chance with her. But she kissed me. I was gonna kiss her, but she beat me to it.
I looked over at Storm, she was laying next to me with her fingers intertwined with mine. How did she not think of me as an insane freak?
"Hey Storm?" I asked her.
She turned to lay on her side and look at me. "Yes Jasper?" She questioned.
"I like you," I told her, staring into her green eyes, or at least green today, they change from blue to green a lot that I've noticed.
"I like you as well," Storm said back.
"Can I ask you something?" I asked her.
"Sure Jasper, ask me anything." Storm responded.
"Do you wanna be my girlfriend?" I asked her, feeling nervous, I don't know why though considering she just kissed me. 
"Yes, Jasper I do. Do you wanna be my boyfriend?" She asked me, smiling.
"Of course, Storm." I said back to her. "Damn, the beautiful freak decided to date the insane monster, that turns a lot of tables," I said with a smile.
"Oh shut up, Jasper. You're not insane. You're perfect." Storm said, laying back down on her back next to me.
"You're not so bad yourself," I said with a laugh.
We laid there in silence for a while, sometimes ha sing moments where we just stare at each other. I finally noticed that it was beginning to get dark outside and looked over at the clock. It was 8:00 pm. I looked over at Storm and noticed she had fallen asleep. I got up and stood in front of where she lay.
I leaned down and picked her up, carrying her bridal style to her room. I laid her on her bed and covered her up. She was so beautiful when she slept. She was so at peace with everything, like everything that has ever hurt or bothered her has disappeared out of her mind. I leaned down and kissed her forehead. I turned to walk away but then I heard a faint whisper, "Jasper." I turned around and saw it was Storm, she was laying on her side watching me.
"Yes Storm," I asked walking toward her.
"Will you stay with me?" Storm asked.
"Of course," I said. I crawled in bed next to her and got under the covers. I wrapped my arms around Storm and held her close to me.
She laid her head against my chest, and whispered, "I love you Jasper."
"I love you too Storm," I whispered into her hair. I held her closer to me and she drifted off into sleep. I slowly drifted into sleep as well.
